It was indeed very tragic. We are mourning him here in Memphis, TN. He was a very compassionate Doctor; as a matter of fact, he was my mother’s doctor while she was visiting my sister and I a while back. The Nigerian community here in Memphis TN USA are in mourning. Coronavirus is real. Please, people, take this disease serious; coronavirus is REAL!!!

What is next Africans , black proffesioners and in diaspora build your countries else, start planning and preparing your wills from now , ua-cam.com/video/c9qD1yrIB8Y/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/_pWj5WMtkS8/v-deo.html
The Africans in diaspora must be seriously warned because they have given their minds to the Europian and world health organisation to waste their lives rather than clinging more to God now to know what he is saying and doing. Now you line up your self to be killed by the vaccine, so start to prepare your death warrants and put your will down , so at least those you left behind can have the money .

This is a very very sad 😭 story, OMG we pray his soul Rest In Peace!!!!
It's a shame that even after you shared your own (Aunty B) experiences last year, some people still think this CovID19 is selective of who and where it spreads its virus. *People should apply common sense in their decision making because not everyone is fortunate to tell their survival stories as most times some people end up dying* . Please everyone should follow the health guidelines. When they say " *heaven help those who help themselves* " it's not just mere words, *just use wisdom to acquire common sense in everything that you do* .
Thanks Aunty B for sharing and raising awareness 👍🏾

It’s a serious problem in Ghana too! People look at you like your weird if you wear mask. I’m in Ghana at the moment and people are carrying on like it’s normal, no mask, no social distancing nothing! A friend of mine came from

I know exactly what you mean. I was in Ghana, primarily Accra, from January 2020-November 2020. I was supposed to stay for three months but COVID spread, return flight was cancelled, border shut down, etc. In the beginning, many people seemed to be trying to comply at least minimally. But as time wore on, they were acting as if the pandemic was over. I had many confrontations with people that I had to personally engage with (store clerks, taxi drivers, etc.). It was exhausting. One young woman (accompanied by her friends) got offended when I did not want her to join me at my table for drinks at an outdoor because I wanted to practice social distancing. She became so enraged that she charged at me with the intent to fight me. Fortunately, a couple people were able to restrain her, but not before she was able to knock my backpack off the table. Smdh!

When I watch Nigerian events on Sky, the places are packed and rarely are people masking up. All shops and businesses are open. I hope I am wrong IJN but I fear for a lot of people especially in Lagos which is as packed as London infact double London's population at 20m people. London is handling it a lot better and has the resources to boot. People also for the most part follow the government rules and laws regarding this pandemic. This mans case is very sad indeed. Be safe people biko - mask up, social distance where possible and wash your hands regularly. As they say in UK adverts, hands - face - space*

They are self medicating treating malaria symptoms at home. A popular nollywood actress died and within few days two of her siblings died all after a brief illness... we dont know if they ever visited the hospital. Another nollywood actor complained of general body pain and died within a few days. People are likely dying at home and people are not linking these deaths to COVID 19

I think people in Nigeria are probably more concerned about their livelihood if they had to endure another lockdown. I think very low income groups are more likely to feed into any conspiracy theories about the pandemic that would justify their denial of the seriousness of the pandemic. Despite the government support provided in the U.K. and reports from hospitals about cases in intensive care units people are still refusing to keep to the rules as more people worry about their finances. Nigerians are more likely to accept concerns about the pandemic if the government is able to provide adequate financial support for them. Unfortunately this doesn’t seem possible bearing in mind the previous palliative problems during the protests , the population size, the loss of national income from oil and continued insecurity affecting farmers across the country.

The world is God's and all that is in it, including humans. If He has decided to end everything thru this virus, so be it; because there's nothing anyone can do about it!!!
If the spread and dying have not stopped in places where people believe the virus is real and wear masks, why do we blame those in areas where the virus is believed to be non existent, where it has not truly reached?

Pastor Ibiyiomie & pastor Oyedepo mercilessly mocked COVID. Am sure their stands on Covid helped spread the false narrative about the virus in Nigerian. I cringed at the sight of seeing Ibiyiomie laughing and downgrading COVID. This must be ignorance or self serving.

Please this church issue is getting out of hand in Nigeria and Africa. By the way, have a relationship is with God not a church or pastor. Pastor, sister, brother, General Overseer this and that needs to stop. Everybody should wear their mask, wash their hands and do everything to avoid or spread COVID 19. I look up to God and not a woman or man of God. Period

What will a sane, thinking, risk assessing human go to do in Nigeria. You have been fortunate to live outside Naija legally. Yet you voluntarily return yourself to Nigeria, "the state of nature" where live is short lived and brutal. You have only yourself to blame for any calamity that befalls you or your loved ones. There are no guardrails or safe guards in that country to enable the continued enjoyment of life. This gentleman's death was Covid driven and may have been averted if the relevant agencies in Nigeria had enacted and enforced appropriate social distancing and lock down regulations. Or if hospitals are actually hospitals and not mere buildings with half baked and semi literate individuals who are tagged as medical personnel. There are several other drivers for unnatural death once you step foot in that country from bad policemen, to your jealous and murderous relatives and friends, to death on the highway or in the air, to armed robbers, to unconscionable deaths simply because someone thinks he can get away with killing you for fun. What on earth are you looking for in such an environment. You allow your ego to take you to such a hostile environment because you want to flaunt relative wealth and you expect sympathy when you die or get harmed? Or you're waiting for God to come down from heaven and do your risk assessment for you and tell you you must not go to Nigeria if you have value and respect for your life? Use video calling technology for funerals, weddings etc even the funeral of a parent. When you go to the jungle, don't expect sympathy when the animals therein immolate you. As for me and mine, going to Naija is not different from deciding to go into the wild and unregulated areas of the amazon jungle and expect to come out hale and hearty. When next you buy that ticket to Naija, know that the probability of your getting into harm's way is off the charts and the possibility of you experiencing harm is unacceptably high. And don't listen to the unthinking fools and do-gooders who will tell you it is not your portion. It is everyone's portion. But those who risk assess and take appropriate action are more likely to escape harm. Stop disturbing the jungle. Leave the jungle for the animals. When they decide they want to live like human beings, then we can start going for visits.

The worse part is that Alibaba said he contracted it from the village, I guess when he went to visit his parents, those people in the village have 0% believe in the covid-19 existence.
I know his village, because we are from same village there's no hospital at all there, they only have clinics that are under equipped, so if what he said is true, then I fear for Nigerians.
