Love this episode! My favorite episode of this season so far. You just can't go wrong with A Christmas Carol. (At least not to me). The animation was great, the songs were great the lesson was great. Love the parallels between Starlight and Snowfall, love the Pinkie Pie impression that Twilight did (Still gets to me lol). Love the Snape pony tribute. (As a huge Harry Potter fan I approve). Great reaction and can't wait for more. XD.

Time for the fandom to begin speculating on her tragic end.
You know this episode really made me think about how much Starlight is like Scrooged because if you think about it in the episode the Cutie remark it was a lot like Scrooge story only except for ghost it was just Twilight because we did go and see her tragic past all of the different presents and then Twilight took her to see repercussions of what she was doing technically being her future while still being her present but I think you get what I mean by why it was so perfect for Starlight to be Scrooged

*Almost* everyone, I haven't seen PotterBrony, but one or perhaps 2 of the ones I have seen(which is several)did not reflect on it looking like Snape at all.

This was the episode that broke me. Now I'm fully on board with Starlight's redemption. This episode gave me what I've always been missing: Context! I finally get it now! I get why she acts differently to when she was a villain! 13:30 - Don't be, she deserves it. 19:40 - I think I be having the concussions now.
Blame Josh Haber! Other writters could not "properly fix" Starlight´s half-cooked backstory, because the same episode were it was seen uses physical timetravel (there is no room for false memories or "it was an ilusion/dream"). Then the genious was to show the backstory of somepony else similar to her (played "by the same actress" in universe) as a way to convey alternative origins for some aspects of her personality without retconing anything [technically speaking].
Hm, I see a chimney sweep that feels cold, .... No, noone during the Presents. During the start of the tale ... A very small is standing in front of Snowfall's house, but it is too "far away" to see. Interesting... It do seem like it is the same one that is visible when Snowfall starts singing, and we see a shot from outside, but she is mostly obscured by DT and her mother passing by in front of her, but there is some frames where she is clearly visible. .....Yup, it's probably the one you are talking about, she has moved around and is there when the bows are put up and taken down during the song, and she is clearly more visible there. She's also visible when Past gallops away with Snowfall in tow.
+Kassie Smith it's her legs .. and to a lesser degree the moon shaped necklace. the thing is videos tend to be a lot darker once uploaded to youtube. if you watch it anywhere else however, her legs, including her signature silver horse shoes, are visible. edit: just noticed this version is actually bright enough to see it. if you pay attention the moment she appears you can make out parts of her body. maybe pause if you need a moment to digest everything.
I have a theory, starlight will next befriend discord then 3 other past antagonist, gilda, for instance. the season finale will be an epic mane 6 vs. the nega 6 for a battle royale of friendship dominance!
