Those big anthurium leave are everything! Can’t imagine having a plant that huge. I would have no room to move lol. 😅
Love update videos!!
Haha me too 💚
Those plants are huge!!! Looking forward to Parts 2 and 3 💚💚💚
What a sweet video idea! I loved this 🥰🎉
Kevin, it was great to revisit these 2020 plants. I regret not taking photos of mine in the beginning, so I enjoy seeing the progress your plants have made. They have grown bigger than the ones I have. I kept mine in leca, and haven't had any pest issues. I find beauty in the 'wonky' leaves.
Yes, Kevin, I agree....the Decipiens!!!! Happy New Year! 😊 ❤️
Most impressive? It’s gotta be that first anthurium decipiens 🤩
All are beautiful of course. I covet your golden bone lol. It’s so beautiful.
My melanochrysum is currently hating me…just got back from vaca.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Omg the decisions 💚 and omg melanochrysums man they are divas 😂 hope you had a great vacation! Happy new year🎉
My plowmanii and Mamei have absolutely loved pon
Amazing indoor plants,I love very much for watching your vlog
The best New Year before and after plant update. Happy New Year 🎉
happy new year!! excited for part 2 of this series!
Thanks for sharing the plants that stuck with you over the years…awesome! Lol when you said, “She looks the same.” 😅
HAHA SHE LOOKED THE SAME 😂😂😂
Yay yay yay..the best start to my New Year is a video from Kevin! I replay your videos over and over while I do my house and plant chores..can never have enough of you and your babies. Thank you muchly x
Awww thank you! Happy new year to you too 🎉💚
Yasss Agreed😍❤️❤️❤️we love kevin i see kevin like a son he is my son age
The anthurium deceleration is fantastic. I can’t believe how big it is.
You made it through the full month! Congratulations. Thanks for the daily content!
Yayyyyyyyy 💚💚💚 thank you and happy new year 🥳
I noticed the main stem of your Plowmanii is under the Leca, it might do better if you leave top half of the stem above the substraight. Same for any crawlers. Good luck an Happy New Year!! 🥳🥳💚
My jaw dropped at the sheer size of these! I also love hearing your struggles with pests, it makes me less afraid to cut back my plants if I need to!
Hi Kevin, I watched your two videos with translation. Very cool to make videos translated into Portuguese. Here in Brazil, urban jungles are starting to leave the collectors' bubble and are reaching the general population. I started my cultivation hobby a few months ago and I really like it. Congratulations on the videos. Detail: here in Brazil there is not much discussion about growing only in expanded clay (apparently that's what you call leca). I really liked this new possibility.
Thrive Level: Over 9000!
LOLOLOL YEA 🔥 ⚡️
The decipens is amazing 👏 😍 💚
Sooo good! Thanks for ANOTHER amazing ideo! 💚🌿
I love seeing this video. I got totally invested in your melano and I’m glad she’s bouncing back. My plowmanii went from an aroid mix, to leca to a pon and perlite mix. Never had trouble with her. She’s also in a no drainage situation. Maybe it helped that she had easy access to moisture. I just couldn’t find a long enough planter for her so she’s in a long refrigerator container lol
Omg I totally agree with you with your plowmanii, they get thirsty when they grow a big root system. Omg a refrigerator container I love it 😂 happy new year!
OMG really loving all these videos especially these plant updates.
HAPPY NEW YEAR! 🥳
Oh yayyy! Thank you so much! Happy new year 🥳
So nice to see the journey. The a. callense has topaz yellowy emergent leaves too so you might like that one too
Ah dang it now the decipiens is going on my wishlist
😱 Amazing updates!! Thank you for all of the videos 💖💖. How will we get used to no Kevins daily?😢. Your plants are stunning 🤩💕. Will you be doing an updated2023 Using Lecca and Pon video? What nutrient solution are you using? What area of Canada are you in? East? West? Just wondering if I am close enough to drive when you decide to sell any plants. I am in NY. 🤞. Happy New Year! Thank you for all of the videos, education and smiles💖💓
I Like THE W💚RK That Y💚U Put In To Save ALL Y💚UR PLANTS... Whether Y💚U Bought Them For $20 OR $200!!! 🗣 PLANT LIFE!!! 🗣
Happy New Year, Kevin, and thank you for sharing your plant journey with us. I love your singing and baking vlogs, too.
Happy new year to you tooo!! 💚💚😂
The massive Anthurium leaves are such an impressive jaw dropping size. Simply incredible.
Hi Kevin, great update, thanks for sharing. I have a plowmanii that is doing great in aeroid mix but I used lots of pumice in the mix. I think your plant will do well in pond. Hope things go well for you and happy growing! 😊
I can't with these giants!!!!
Hahahahaha 💚🔥
Happy New Year Kevin!!!🥳 🎊🎉🎈
Happy new year 🥳 💚
Happy New Year, Kevin! I always thought that plants that grew in leca were immune to pests (spider mites and such). Taking a closer look at my own plants now... Hope I don't find anything. But then again, I only have very 'easy' plants in leca like pothos and begonias. Cheers for 2023!
Haha omg right another myth. I think the only advantage pest wise for having plants in LECA is fungus gnats, and certain stages of thrips and spider mites that live in soil. 😅
🎉🎉
💚💚
The fercatum looks like an uterus in shape. Lol 😂
Love how you are not scared to experiment, So I’m leaving that to the young pups (you) and will just hopefully get my babies to at least half the size of yours, I would be so happy think I would burst with pride.
Looking forward to 2023 and seeing the rest of this little series you have going on Kevin.
🎊HAPPY NEW YEAR 🎉
Awww thanks Kathy but you can totally get yours big too! 💚 happy new year!! 🥳
Plowmanii is one of my favorite plant of them all. I hope mine will grow like crazy next year! The Swedish winter has been hard but never give up! And also, Happy New Year Kevin 💚
I’m sure you plowmanii will be big in no time!! you’ll get through the winter 🥶 💚🔥. Happy new year!!! 🎉
Happy New Year to u and urs Kevin! 🎆
Congrats on a great Vlogmas!
Happy new year
That thumbnail anthurium was amazing! 🤯 But my other fav was the Crystal Mag!! 😍 I recently bought a seedling that’s either that cross or SKG silver - hoping mine looks as impressive in 2 years time! 🤞🤞
I ordered a decipiens from Ecuagenera, should be arriving in about 2 weeks! Hope mine has similar progress to yours! 💚
furcatum reminds me of minecraft pickaxe lol
OMG TRUEEEE
Your anthuriums in PON are seriously impressive-I’m going to look, but do you have a video that covers your anthurium care (in PON)?
Aww thank you! Means a lot coming from you 💚💚💚 I don’t! Planning to do one in the coming month. Thank you for the comment and happy new year 🥳
@@kevin.- Happy New Year to you too! I found your anthurium post that has some of the details I was looking for (for anyone else looking: ua-cam.com/video/9ZBB-egUzkI/v-deo.html), but I look forward to your care vid.
I was tinkering with pH down alternatives (ie vinegar and citric acid), I really messed some of my aroids up, but my decipiens and melano are finally recovering and I’ve got a couple anthuriums (metallicum, forgettii x magnificum, etc), that I think I want to try in PON.
Love your channel-keep up the good work Kevin! 🌱❤
💚🤩
