One of the many remarkable things about Angela Davis is how she frightened the powerful by simply bringing up the topic of replacing them with a more democratic and equitable social and political order. Back in the early 70's she was public enemy number one for them. Just saying her name evoked a jeering, extremely negative response from the media and politicians. They did their best to make her radioactive and she never backed down, never showed any fear of them at all. Her courage is incredible given how they tried so hard to destroy her for daring to point out that a better arrangement is possible.

Get rid of the Democrat party and their ongoing control over inner cities where poverty runs rampant and order can more easily be achieved. Time the black community realizes who their real enemies are.

The Soviet government loved her too! I grew up in the USSR, and she was a poster child of anti-American propaganda. Too bad the Soviet Union fell apart...otherwise socialism was great.

The negative word association with anything related to evolution and power to the people---specifically in relation to people who do not fit the established majority of peoples---is so deliberate. The fear mongering of, for example, associating revolution with violence, when truly, that violence is often a result of aggressive 'resistance' (oppression) to change is all a manipulative tactic to keep us either repeating our history or stagnant in our present.

Oh but they did. And then some. When we have goals we may not live long enough to see them come into fruition. But they planted those seeds. MLK planted the seeds, our ancestors prayed and dreamed for a better future and now we are their dreams manifested. *#Patience*
