primarily because it is so random, and lighthearted at the beginning, however when he gets the epiphany it turns so philosophical, beautiful and realistic.... I also love that the tramp feels so lucky of having witnessed the collision and that the farmer ,*because* of his wealth, *because* of having a roof over his head, wasn't able to experience it. The irony there is great like you said. It makes me smile when I read it. I also like it 'cause the rest of his poems revolve about isolation, loneliness...etc. and this one is more optimistic? It's like forget other people's judgements of you, you value yourself, for that is all that matters...wow that was long ;) sorry for rambling haha.
Whoa I love this! I definitely agree this one is more optimistic than a lot of his poems and that makes it special in a way. I kind of feel like I like the tramp even more now I've read your comment - the idea of being so grateful to have witnessed something despite all your other misfortunes is really beautiful. Also can I just say, in my experience examiners LOVE it when students portray a sense of genuinely enjoying and appreciating their texts in English Lit. If you can get across the same passion in your essays as in this comment you are totally going to SLAY those mocks!! ;)
Good luck lovely! Thank you, that’s so amazing to hear. I randomly decided to start putting these vids up on UA-cam one day and the thought that I’m actually helping people in exams now is mad!! :D
Heyyy great question! (Although you don’t have to call me miss 😂😂). I would advise memorising three or so quotes for each key theme and character. Then if you have to write about that specific theme, you have multiple quotes memorised to back it up, and it should overlap with the quotes you memorised for characters etc so you’ll have a few more. E.g. if you had to write about jealousy for othello, you have your jealousy quotes, and some of your othello, iago and rodrigo quotes might be relevant too. Hope that helps xx
Your voice is so soothing. Actually makes me want to learn, which is hard to do, lmao.
Haha thanks! Dooo itttt you got this!
I know this the first comment of 2021, nonetheless, I am very grateful for your analysis! God bless!

Miss, how many quotes should I remember per text? For like Othello, as an example.
