    Correction at 4:30! I meant to say central incisors are the widest anterior teeth mesiodistal for BOTH dentitions (my first bullet point). It's true that the only anterior tooth wider than it is tall is the primary central incisor (second bullet point), but that is not true for the permanent central incisor.

    Thank you Ryan for your very nice presentation. I just wanted to say that at 4:30 the permanent central incisor the incisocervical height is taller than the mesiodistal width. Thank you again and wish you the best.

      Yes, thank you for bringing this up! I apologize that I misspoke when I said that. I meant to say the central incisors are the widest anterior teeth mesiodistal for BOTH dentitions (my first bullet point there). It's true that the only anterior tooth wider than it is tall is the primary central incisor (second bullet point).

    Hey Ryan! Permanent central incisor is 10,5 cm cervicoincisal length and medio distal 8,5 aprox .. it is larger cervico incisal than medio distal

    What is the difference between most distinct MF cervical ridge in lower 1st molar and most prominent in the upper? Thanks in advance.

    • @mentaldental
      @mentaldental  3 роки тому +1

      The maxillary 1st molar has the most prominent MF cervical ridge of the MAXILLARY teeth, while the mandibular 1st molar has the most prominent MF cervical ridge of ALL the primary teeth.

    Thank you for your great videos Ryan!. Just wanted to clarify: the primary maxillary 1st molar resembles the permanent maxillary 1st or 2nd premolar? According to b&b dental it resembles the 2nd not the 1st. Can you please clarify?

    • @mentaldental
      @mentaldental  3 роки тому +1

      It resembles the permanent maxillary first premolar. If you look at the mesial surface, both teeth have that pronounced mesial concavity that the second premolar doesn't have.

    Hi Dr. Ryan, I have my test in a little under 2 weeks... For the fourth time.. I've had a very rough year and never seem to be able to make it. All my scores have have been 73 and 74. I'm taking time off work, what can I do during that time to help me finally get out of this rut? Thank you.

    • @mentaldental
      @mentaldental  4 роки тому +1

      I can understand how that's very frustrating, but you are so close! That is a good score, and you only need a few more questions correct to pass. I would suggest not taking the exam again until you truly feel prepared. I recommend a three-pronged approach: watch all of my videos, read through the Mosby's book, and download the Boards Mastery app and do 25+ practice questions every single day. Of course, I would also encourage you to get my video slides to help take notes and study. You can get them one of two ways. You can either sign up on my Patreon page www.patreon.com/mentaldental or send $30 to me directly via PayPal www.paypal.me/mentaldental. All the best to you, you can do this!
