Nice and peaceful video man , really awesome ...if we are starting from Pune via private car , what all permits / Documentations we need to complete Pune -Leh - Laddhakh _pune Trip? also can we cover the entire trip with 2WD vehicle ?
@@walkingwanderer2352 I’m planning this trip.. will this trip be suitable for elderly people? Can there be any breathing difficulties for which we need to prepare for? Specifically for the aged.
Hi @WalkingWandererTours, thanks for a video this informative! Had a question to ask: I'm planning a Manali-Leh trip for the second or third week of October. Wanted to ask if it is the case that we won't be allowed to go there after a particular date, or it is just that we're not recommended because of possible snowfalls? (Because will be having spare days, in case any snowfall stretches the total duration of the trip)
see if snowfall happens after October 15 then BRO only opens the road for rescue purposes so its not recommended to travel at that time at least try in last week of september
Don't follow this video... Main information not given.. hp bikes are not allowed in Ladakh... At leh you have to rent another bike...rent is double that too for 12 hours.... I did planning after watching this video but now completely devastated to know all this shit . It will cost around 30k for 8 days trip.

There will be low oxygen at high altitudes. You need to aclimitize few days before going to high mountains by staying in low altitude for 2 -3 days. You better purchase oxygen bottles, blood oxygen meter.
Many thanks for the beautiful and leisurely video. I am sorry to note that some stretches of this strategic road is in such poor shape. I hope that the roads will improve as soon as possible. I would say it is the best foreign country within India.
