I think the reason veldanava lost turn null is 1st he gave it up just like his other skill 2nd star king dragon veldanava lost it not his true form after creating the verse Or maybe he just discarded it after he's done creating things cuz he doesn't it need anymore
most probably he lost it the moment he created the tensura verse as a side effect of using it on a large scale because unlike rimuru who has Rapheal who can analyse any and all the side effects of it and make sure rimuru could use it without any side effects
