I thought I had recorded this earlier, but it's not anywhere to be found. If Cat Stevens hadn't recorded this early on in my musical life, I might not have ever heard it, since I just discovered that it's not in any of our recent hymnals. And I'm sure you'll hear how his version has influenced my own. It has become one of my favorites! This one is recorded for @AndrewNewman-Pinto, who requested it a few weeks ago. It's not a hymn sing version, but hopefully you'll like it anyway.

Blackbird has spoken like the first bird.

First heard this at a Lutheran church who loved the song so much they had copies of it they stuffed in the bulletin when they wanted to sing it!

Second time I watched your video I've noticed you were minus your wedding ring!
Good eye, David! I’ve lost some weight and sometimes my rings fall off. I took them off earlier in the evening and forgot to get them before Greg went to bed. Didn’t want to disturb him.
