This was our first ever visit to The York Ghost Merchants and we were not disappointed! The York Ghost Merchants is a unique a shop located in the medieval Shambles in York. The shop sells hand crafted ghosts. Each ghost in the store is unique and hand crafted by their master craftsmen and women. Every ghost is unique, “with a spirit all its own”
The shop is located on the most haunted street in the most haunted city in the world, York: the city of a thousand ghosts. Join us in this special video as we make our way into The York Ghost Merchants and buy our very own ghosts to take home!

We have tried so many times to get a ghost from their but its always been too crazy queue wise or we have ended up going on the day its closed, we are actually due to visit York on Monday so might give it another shot or even visit the other shop 🫢👻🤔 Thanks for sharing your day with us, loved watching you choose 👍🥰 we never do well with choices 🫢😂 take care & enjoy the rest of the week ❤👻xx

They have a pop up shop at St Anthony's Gardens, it's about a 6 minute walk. I went today and there was one person in the queue apart from myself😊

The shop layout is lovely, but I can’t really see the attraction to the sculptures. Very gimmicky

Thank you for watching ☺️ We agree the shop is beautiful in the way it is set up. We love our ghosts but think they are quite expensive for what they are. I guess you’re paying for the whole experience.
