BNSF has a bad reputation for us railfans it seems since 9/11 and before that possibly. Like you said, you're on public property, you weren't hurting the railroad. I was ran off by a guy in a normal vehicle years ago in Claremore, Oklahoma, no railroad markings, wife and kid with him. These guys need to watch themselves because they could run into the wrong railfan that might call police on them for forcing them away from where they are and saying they're on public property. I've got mixed feelings for BNSF because of their act toward us when we're just doing our thing we like on public right of way. I've rarely to never had a issue with any other RR.

Yea the guy who did this wasn’t BNSF he was just some random old guy.
There's always that one guy the railroad sees that makes them thing we're all no good.
