@@musicisfun The BA-108/BA-110 V1 & BA-108 V2 is the Ampeg Scrambler pedal away from being a more complete bass amp solution. I have a Pyle PVAMP60 with an 8 inch full range 20-20K speaker that does the clean channel, the OD on that amp just doesn't seem to work well for bass. Good for Jazz, just not rock/metal. I did explore using a Proco Rat or other guitar distortion pedals.
@@jimcamp2423 okay. I was writing just about this special type of amp, the BA 108. The internal option of the BA 110 is not bad at all. However, I would rather recommend the sans amp pedal which is quite appropriate for rock and metal. I personally use the bass overdrive pedal from boss together with my 500 watt Ampeg rig for rehearsals and live use and I am very pleased with it.
@@musicisfun I'm a beginner myself, just wanted to see what was out there for bass amps as complete solutions as a minimalist approach to a practice bass rig. The BA-108 V1 & V2 as solid foundations to build on was what I was trying to determine vs just eating the all in one solution & spend a little more. For now, what I have works for making noise & learning.
Pretty clean sound, anything distorted for metal without adding a distortion pedal ?
Most of the bass amps have just one channel. To be driven for rock or metal this one needs to be played with an additional OD pedal.

@@jimcamp2423 so the BA 110 would be the right one for you. I played over it once and was quite impressed. Covers practicing, and small gigs as well.
Man sieht deutlich, dass du abgenommen hast👍😉
Ich finde auch, der Amp steht mir gut 😁
@@musicisfun Ja, er klingt nicht nur gut, er kleidet auch. Mit dem kann man nur gut aussehen. 😂
