maybe block saddles will allow more height adjustment. if not, maybe longer screws for the saddles
It's more of a built-in limiter than a compressor. Would be to prevent or reduce distortion, plus give the speaker some protection from being overloaded and then possibly damaged.
Just got one of these for a trade. Guy was selling for $50. I traded him a pedal. This thing with a good setup is smooth!!!
What's the balance and body like? I got the Yamaha erg 121 and it's the most comfortable guitar I've ever played. This kinda looks like a scaled up bass version which is what I'm looking for
i used hipshot locking love them!
What passive pickup did you install in the OLP? Sounds good to me!
I would hire Dave. I like drummer in front of stage :D
That is exactly what is wrong with my guitar. I have a 2023 MIM Strat neck on a Squier classic vibe body. I am just going to make two guitars.
Compressors can change your sound, especially models with attack (this one is very simple and only has the one knob).
Well, that’s your opinion.
@musicisfun Example: Fundamental frequency is usually loudest, highest frequencies the most quiet. What happens when you compress the heck out of your instrument/mix?
Comprei uma em excelente estado de uma pessoa de perto de casa, coloquei os caps fender pure vintage 65's e ficou muito top!
Super 👍
Timbre differences that are really irrelevant and in practice useless
Okay 😂
That’s your opinion.
I agree it’s “useless”. ….However on a clean tone, for strumming rhythm guitar in some songs, it can be good. It can also be used for funk rhythm playing too because it lowers the output and makes it more clean sounding
“and now without…. Oh.. with!” Classic move when dialling in a compressor 😂
Hehe 😝
Əəəəhheehheeee😅😅😂😂 əəəəəəhhhəəəə
You live in that rich and spoiled nazi germany, and you dont have to buy some proper guitar and you waste your time on those chinese piece of s....t . Leave that to kids...go and buy original Fender. And learn to play guitar. Pay to tracher for some lessons dont embarass yourself ...
Whyyy soooo serious 🤡
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.
Ja ja ist Kohrona zeig heil 😅
Ja ja zeig....ich bin spritze 🤣
Happiness is a choice.
Cmon man quit playing guitar....dont torture us or get us laugh...😂😅
What you do today can improve all your tomorrows.
Ja ja zeig heil...😂
Out of rhythm, and out of creativity. How your channel is still valid 😂
Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.
I got one of these base on the good reviews on You Tube, but the colour is actually brilliant white not whats shown on the website, the fret ends were razor sharp, also it was extremely heavy, heavier than my std Les Paul .... I returned it ... 😞
That’s a shame. These guitars are actually pretty good.
Yes @@musicisfun they may have been one time, but not now ... 😞

Un prdal excelente y una demostración muy coherente, felicidades.
Muchas gracias. 🙏
I'm getting this one for me soon... can the headphone jack be used as a LINE OUT if connected with a quarter jack adapter?
You can do it. But I’m afraid that it won’t be the nicest sound. I had better experiences by using a mic in front of the amp.
Thanks for the video. I bought a used one today. Does yours make a loud pop when you flick the on switch? Also, does it hum when it is on, at any volume, even if nothing is plugged in?
It depends on the amount of gain you dial in. It shouldn’t make any noise but there could be a bad tube or a bad elco in the circuit.
Merci
De rien.
Bravo!🎸🎶🎶🎶👏
Danke
Thanks, great video.
Thank you so much.
Thanks bro
I hope I could help.
Thx for 4:30 stupid talk
What a great, fulfilling and extremely precise comment. I bet it took you days to think about what to write. The beauty of complexity is your strongest weapon.
Next time get a natural satin finish and just paint it
I just bought the real deal and swapped out the sss pickguard for an original hss.
just buy a Fender SSS and then swap the pickguard to a HSS pickguard and buy a humbucker! problem solved :)
That’s exactly what I did.
@@musicisfun Seems like the best option in the situation you were in! 🙂
Would you recommend this for the neighbors?😅 Sounds good, man!
Thank you so much. The amp sounds great and can be a beast as well.
This sounded great with low gain crunch and kept the clarity. The cleans too. The high gain was a bit disappointing, you'd probably want to put an OD into it to get it more expressive. Nice that it has a headphone out so you can use it for practice and recording and small gigs.
Thank you. I probably will put an od in the effect loop. Just for practice at home, the amp is good enough.
do you like this bass? what about sound? will it sound good in some metal stuff?
It suits quite good when playing the genre metal.
2004 Squier Jazz bass tone improvement with 500k pot and .022uf cap upgrade. 🎧 Recommended. ua-cam.com/video/RZ9s2ikF-QQ/v-deo.htmlsi=QuAMe7sQtmYN5MHL
I bought a squire strat with cxs serial number crafted in china for 40 bucks from a pawnshop. After some reading, It appears to be a squire SE full body full neck. Im very excited to upgrade things
It’s a brillant guitar for the fraction of the price of a Mexican guitar. You can’t go wrong with it.
The half blender from the 50s Strats is the same , you end up with with master tone control and the 2nd tone( middle ) becomes a blender that adds the neck pickup to the bridge( and middle) but can be fine tuned using the blend contril which was the middle tone. Pimp floid man just has an on/ off switch for neck...plus a million bucks of amp effects.
Thank your for sharing your experience and knowledge.
Buddy, you gotta get a better ear. My god.
Just ordered a new and fresh pair. Thanks for the recommendation.
Squier #CD99**** Crafted in China (YAKO) with the 4 corner bridge screws have fantastic pickups. What you have to do is replace the tiny stock 250k pots with full size 500k pots and a .022uf Orange Drop cap. Install a set of Ernie Ball Cobalt .100-.045 gauge Flatwound strings and you won't believe the increased crisp tonal range and headroom you will experience.
That’s a brilliant plan. Thanks for sharing your insights.
Trim out the pocket so the neck will fit
I hope so.
Thanks!
I hope I could help.
Its a shame that you did not explore reducing the thickness of the neck heal by a few millimeters.
Who is saying that? A proper luthier?
I own both and Sterling is definitely better but you have to rewire pickup to parallel mode
The price difference is nowhere near what he said. It’s like $50 max.
It’s all possible in the six-string-universe.
I have the same year telecaster that's awesome
Cool. Enjoy it 😀
OLP 10 Sterling 9
Or passive vs active.
we have the same guitar! but mine is sun burst (changed its pickguard to black) but no skunk stripe
Great. The skunk stripe does not affect the tone. So it really doesn’t matter. Have fun with your guitar.
Hi. I'm using a MIM 70's neck on a Squier affinity body, compatibility is just perfect and the neck on the neck pocket look just like yours but I don't have any problem with it the guitar plays perfectly. Maybe there's something you're missing.
That was my plan as well but it ironically didn’t work out.
Err... What I did noticed is that the neck pocket on the affinity body was a bit tight for the neck, I had to apply some pressure to set it right. Maybe a shim would help you. For what I can see in the video the neck-body sizes are just like mine but I can't really check what seems to be the problem without pictures or a good point of view of the guitar. Hope you don't give up, there must be a solution and you'll have your dream guitar. BtW i'm also looking for an olympic white body, mine is surf green
They say the best way to improve your own playing is to play with others. But being in a band brings so many other human elements into the picture, it can take the shine off the music if not everyone is on the same page or being honest with each other. But there's no point in letting it be an emotional burden longer than necessary, if only for your own well being. A band is a relationship like any other and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, sometime you have to find your own way. I hope you can move on and at least learn from the experience.
Thanks for your kind words. I really learned from it and let me think differently now about bands. But I fine with it. Luckily I still have my other band.
Nice. This is super helpful. I’ve been looking to change my tuners, and didn’t want to pay for ones I don’t need. Was your bushing glued in though?
No, it wasn’t.
