Interesting how us long time Skaters are also into Motocross riding. My first encounter with Steve was at a event in Santa Ana in the parking lot a big Half Pipe set up in the Old Red Onion Bar and restaurant back in the 90's when I just started my skateboard company TriQ skateboards out of Costa Mesa. I was bringing back the big wide park boards. He was stoked. He was so cool. We hung out in the stands and talked about old school companies and the legendary skatepark's. What a honor it was for me to be accepted like 1 of the old pros. My claim to fame in the skate world was reverse 360's. I still skate to this day on my original designed deck from the 90's at the Volcom skatepark up in Mammoth Lakes California. Time is repeating itself. The new decks are getting wider and the Independent 215 trucks are making a comeback. Hopefully he remembers me?

That's awesome man! Thanks for sharing, my brother and I were just reminiscing about different skateboards, trucks, and wheels we had in the early 90's. I was never great but raced moto, BMX etc. and loved those years being a kid.

I was 14 in 84, and watched Cab and other pros skate Montague Expressway! Was some loading docks just off the freeway in Milpitas! They pulled up in an old school bus, threw an amp on top of the bus, blared some old school punk and had an underground contest. One of the coolest things Ive ever witnessed!

Bet nobody had to explain to Cab the concept of slow is smooth/smooth is fast.

Steve has always been a great guy. Met him at the old San Jose Honda dealer many years ago at the height of his fame. He has always donated boards and other items to fund raisers for injured riders over the years. Great guy.

With respect to Cab and McGrath we need to have some young guns as ambassadors to Brands and the sport. Young content creators movie product placement etc. need to get with the times.

McGrath is the only official ambassador for Kawasaki with that title. It’s not something they give out to anyone or multiple content creators. They probably give away quite a few bikes but the term ambassador means something to them.

Love your content but the title is a bit click baitey. No talk about the new kawi at all. Please don't do that. I'll watch regardless but want to actually know what I'm in for not wait for something that never happens.

It’s a philosophy tied to Hinduism, Buddhism and Taoism. They also believe in reincarnation which there’s zero evidence for. He said he believes in God, not polytheism or contradicting ideas.
