*WOW* !!!! *Will now try some of the crumbled blue cheese* !!!! *Before today, I was VERY skeptical of such an idea* !!!! *Thanks to Jack and America's Test Kitchen* !!! #AmericasTestKitchen
I only buy crumbles to make my homemade blue cheese dressing which isn't to say they are not important. My supermarket deli puts out its own tub of bleu cheese crumbles and I have always liked them.
My 11 year old first tried it when he was 8. He calls it "Ant Cheese" because he says it taste the same way ants smell like. He doesn't like it but I love it.
It does smell like ants..... There's a small ant we have in Oklahoma commonly called a pissant that gets all over you when you garden.... when smashed smells exactly like blue cheese
I went to a little mom-and-pop restaurant where they made their own dressings....had blue cheese/ranch on a lettuce wedge with crumbled bacon that was absolutely wonderful. Like avocados I have now acquired a taste for it
@@ralan5527 Pre crumbled comes already crumbled. With anti clumping agent added. Regular crumbled you crumble yourself. They went over it at the beginning...
Smell, maybe, but it tastes good. Try on fresh soft bread with a cup of hot black tea. Despite the pungent smell like sour socks (as Bridget put it) or a pair of stale trainers, you might just enjoy the taste. I prefer the whole.
@@ningcheng_shu I've tried it on steaks and burgers. In salads. Even in dressing for chicken wings....still horrible. I think I'd rather eat the sour socks.
@@shortbus7771 I can totally understand. Everyone has his own preference for tastes. The fresh soft bread and hot sweet black tea might make the taste and smell less pungent. Indeed, even if I put the cheese in the fridge for a bit longer time, I might get embarrassed by people around.
America’s Test Kitchen has some of the best videos around. Interesting and useful.
Love listening to Jack talk about food. I'm getting smarter and hungrier at the same time, haha!

the texas roadhouse i work at uses stella blue cheese it gets really blue if you let it sit in the fridge for a few days opened
Point reyes blue cheese is my favorite. Found on the West coast.
I love blue cheese, I can transform an okay cheese dish into pure delight with blue cheese.
I do like the bleu cheese, i like gargonzola even better

I really miss the blue cheese cubes that came in a jar with herbs and olive oil. Was it Roseburg? Haven't seen that in years.
Always had a gasoline taste to me 😢❤💕😩👀
Any cave grown bleu cheese from the cool caves in Minnesota is best. Very creamy and flavorful.
Maytag blue cheese is hands down the best. Its expensive but its worth it...
Clemson Bleu Cheese. Yummy.
I would devour all of thee, but Boar's Head brand is my personal go-to as is a lot of Boar's Head products.
Why do you use back east but not out here in the west?
Crumbled? Get a chunk of Maytag, or, better, Point Reyes and compare with any of this stuff. There is no “crumble,” there is only Zool.
Maytag is my go to bleau
Roquefort still one of my faves. But too pricey.
Thanks to Lubalin, I learned that "blue cheese has mold in it..."
Unfortunately blue cheese is definitely an acquired taste! It’s One of the few food items I cannot eat🤮😂
I couldn't stand it for years, then I had it one time where it was really good and I have loved it ever since
Some have a chemical flavor, some just taste great. Unless you've tried a few, maybe just had a bad one. The chemical ones are fairly prevalent sadly.
It is the only food that scared the people on our bus in Laos.
They were eating spiders.
I will say they were kind to me and my GF.

Bridget knows her cheeses!
Thanks.
hmm...still no traders joes...theirs is great too
I wish for ATK to do a review and explanation of white cheddar cheese. I mean what makes a cheddar cheese a white cheddar cheese? 🤔
No anatto....it is a coloring agent that makes cheese yellow. White cheese just doesn't have coloring agents added
I buy the Stella brand which didn't even make the list!!idk if that's good or bad 🤦🏻♀️😘
She said Stella was the one on the left? She placed it second out of the three.
Wow she was suprised.
I would have too. please do not feel bad girl
I saw treasure cove on the counter. That is just awful stuff! I really do like Roth. They sell solid pieces as well!
The one with the pony tail changed my mind .....
Ah yes...Bridget Lancaster. So cute. She could sell me water on a rainy day.
There's just something about her that gets my motor running.
If you ever looking for a good blue cheese look up Faribault, Minnesota with blue cheese. It is world class, yes I said world class.
Why was this uploaded again?
☺️👌🏼😎❤️👍🏼😍
Why buy this product?
@ whoever is running this channel:
If I wanted to watch this again, I would -this is *not* TV; quit doing 'reruns'.
Well, bless your heart.
Whole or pre crumbled... blue cheese is nasty
What is pre crumbled vs just crumbled.

I know this is nitpicking but ATK needs to stop using straws.
