You would need both speed and grade to calculate O2 from these equations. Maybe you could assume a grade of zero.

It is a measure of the slope of the treadmill. It is the other parameter that with speed defines the exercise intensity on a treadmill. As an example, arise of 15 cm in 100 horizontal cm is a 15% grade. Or in a decimal format it would be 0.15.

The question is: What is the MET equivalent to level walking on a treadmill at 3.0 mph?
A. 5.59 MET
B. 3.30 MET
C. 2.30 MET
D. 3.02 MET

You need to calculate VO2 first, but sorry you will need to ask your instructor if you want more help. In case it's for a grade I don't want to contribute to cheating.
