Now that the "gypsy issue" is solved, I wanna take your attention for something else. There is a lot of you questioning my choices on my redesign, especially on Fluttershy. The fact that I turned her into a unicorn bothered some of you because of her name and her backstory.
Let me begin by telling you that there is no good or bad way to do characters. Artistic choices and preferences can not be judge since they are all unique for each person. If I think making her a unicorn is a good idea and you no, there is no problem with that, but you can't told me I am wrong.
Also, I'm planning to giving to all of them a new backstory and names. I'm keeping the "elements of friendship" thing and all the goal of the show, I'm just revisiting the characters for fun because I like to do so.
A lot of you don't have any problems with what I'm saying because, even if you disliked my choices, it's a natural thing and you are aware because you can understand. For the others, who would think it's rude of me or I don't know what you can think, I would only suggest to you to not watching redesign video if you can't handle that an artist "destroyed your favorite character". Well said! Honesty from my side, I think redesigns are beautiful. The fluttershy was a bit touchy but As i artist,I think she would be better as a unicorn or Earth. But it doesn't matter cause art is art. It doesn't hurt anyone
Wawa, I was just confused since it was part of her story. she belonged where she didn't, right? it made no sense to me, "well she is here so she should be a unicorn" when the whole point was that she didn't belong there. maybe just different reasons would have been fine, like aesthetic appeal but the one you gave made no sense. I'm not a fan of this but I used to watch it when I was younger. I think your art and designs are neat and all

Rarity- a very unique design for her. I've never seen her as a earth pony but I love it!
Fluttershy- again FINALLY someone made her a unicorn! Its fits her so well! Especially the fact she's afraid of flying! (Again I'm aware it's been done before)

Solar Flare The Pegasus finally? Lmao dude I literally see fluffy pinkie pegasus and unicorn fluttershy EVERYWHERE what do you mean?? Honestly getting tired of it, because I think that the wings make fluttershy’s personality show more. Like you’d expect her to be confident and fly about but NOPE she’s subverting that expectation and doing her own thing! I think it’s amazing. With pinkie, I think the fact that she manages to fly without wings makes her look funnier and spunkier. Like you don’t often see someone as crazy as her, attempting to fly and jump and everything. It’s not as risky and fun with wings.
But that’s obviously just my opinion and you’re entitled to yours

I will never get tired of watching others redesigning these characters. In fact, I'm planning to redesign them myself! I started drawing Twilight, and I'm planning to redesign MORE than just the Mane 6!
My favorite probably has to be Twilight so far. I love that she has such a royal, high class feel, when many probably forget that she IS from Canterlot, a very fancy place. You really made her feel like a part of it.
And I loooovvveee all the details you added to them, like the fluff and goat parts on the unicorns, and the feathers on pegasi, it all just looks so nice! And yeah, the goat snoots are really cute.
I can't wait for the second part!

@@hayday2917 We have things like that too ;w; we call them "homonymes" like... I don't know... "fin" and "faim" or... "et" and "est". We have a lot of words like that.

Unlike in English where we have like Pterodactyl where the P is silent...

Love how your not afraid to change the pony types and stuff, don’t see that too much with mane 6 redesigns. Really like Rainbow’s look, almost is draconic and I really like that!

in pinkie pie's original design she was a pegasus, so making her a pegasus in this makes sense
What I am about to say is my personal opinion about each one, so just know that I respect your thoughts about each of the mane 6 and your choices are a display of your art and what you believe the mane 6 SHOULD be like. Having said that, I will now state my opinion on each of the mane 6:
I really liked your Twilight redesign. You really captured her elegance.
For Pinkie Pie, I definitely agree with you making her a pegasus. I love how you made her even more lovable. Since she is a bundle of fun and a spurt of energy, I think being a pegasus suits her.
With Rarity, making her an earth pony kind of rubbed me the wrong way. I understand that you made her an earth pony to show that even earth ponies can be sassy, and I agree with that, but she was a unicorn because her demeanor showed that she has some sort of power. Unicorns are known for using magic, and magic is symbolic for power, so the unicorn fits her greatly. Setting the whole "unicorn" thing aside, you did really well with Rarity. I really like the gypsy style clothing you gave her, I think it suits her style. It definitely shows her sass.
Fluttershy was very interesting to me. Although I think the unicorn suits her, a pegasus also suits her well. Not because of her name, but because she has freedom with the animals. Also, she's very shy, and much like a hermit, which further shows why a pegasus also suits her. Pegasi can be free and can be hermits. I know that pegasi can symbolize strength and bravery, as well, which Fluttershy has in her own way, despite her demeanor. Anyway, your redesign was perfect for her. You definitely captured her sweet and shy nature.
Your thoughts on Rainbow Dash already had me thinking that her redesign would be amazing. As soon as you started, I saw perfection. She is definitely the masculine one in the group. Her large wings definitely symbolize her ego. The smug grin and her puffed up chest also shows her ego. You definitely displayed Rainbow Dash well.
Your Applejack redesign blew me away. You did a perfect job of displaying her strength and her raggedy "I don't care" cowgirl attitude while managing to keep her somewhat tidy and feminine.
(I am NOT an artist or an art critic, so if any of this sounds intellectual, it's because I'm a band kid. When I state my opinion on things, I always look at the whole story, try to pick out little details that are in the artist's style, and say what I'm thinking. I state what I like, what I agree with, and what I don't agree with and say why.)
I'm here early yiss! I love your art and you inspire me yo draw MLP even after my friends made fun of me for it. I've been watching since your original Rainbow Factory speedpaint and I am stunned at how much you've improved!! Your designs are wonderful and I thank you for drawing all these years and being a inspiration to me to keep doing what I love, even if I get ridicule.

She is tall with an elegant long neck and tail, she has glasses and tends to wear jackets.
Pinky-
Short and plump, her mane in a bun when baking and out and about whenever she's dong something else, she wears scrunchies (idk just sounds cute on her)
rarity-
Tall and angular, with sharp edges that don't represent her personality at all.

8:49 unicorns actually prefer to stay out of nature, and stay clean and pristine, earth ponies love the nature she was originally supposed to be an earth pony because of that.

I like that you aren't afraid to change around the species a little bit! I definitely think the ability to fly suits Pinkie Pie since she's so excitable. It's also nice to see someone messing around with size and other things like that. Most redesigns are just sort of an updated hairdo and maybe some coloring changes, this is an actual character re-imagining and it's really fun to watch!
