Tbh if they do get an Extra Deck monster, Fusion seems a lot more fitting and not just because this is a GX archetype. Call it Volcanic Blaze Accelerator Archfiend or something and give it a Deck dumping effect for even more Scattershot abuse.
I wish they got a link monster that acted as a replacement for Lavalval Chain and also could somehow recycle the banished Reloads... something like: LINK 2 2000 ATK 2 monsters including at least 1 Volcanic monster (1) When this card is link summoned you can send 1 Spell/Trap card from your deck to your GEE WHY, then draw 1 card. (2) If this card is in your GY: You can target any number of banished "Blaze Accelerator" cards in your banished zone; shuffle them and this card from the GY into the Deck. You can only use this (2) effect once per duel.
Given that he shows up in Season 3 of GX I can see Konami making a retrain of Abaki that's part of the Dark World archetype. Call him Abaki Oni of Dark World.

This has nothing to do with being a weeb. It is applying the original name because I am opposed to several name changes for the sake of change and political correctness, which I am opposed to. Also, several names in the TCG are using the japanese translation of generic names that occurred in the old days. If I was weeb then, I would apply the name in romanji. Most of the time, I see the TCG name as invalid if it originated in the OCG.

This is an archetype that flew under my radar when it first released, and I never bothered with it unitl Tag Force 5 in which I was pleasantly surprised at what it was capable of doing. I really liked this archetype and if the rumors are true, then I can't wait for it in duel links.
MMetelli It's going to be amazing in Duel Links, if it some how gets scattershot early sometime after next set, probably as a drop from Axl. DarkWorld is supposedly next though so that might be a contender against. So far both have been semi confirmed for the next set thanks to players Data Mining the game again. At some point that's probably going to piss the devs off though.

Volcanic Counter was such a good troll card back in the day. I remember when Qliphorts were tier 1 they would just attack with Towers and not realize I could chain 3 of these things at once to deliver 9000 burn damage.
Silver is reliant on your opponent being trigger-happy with their pops and you have to hope they don't banish it. It's honestly interesting but much to reactive than enactive.
I happened upon a Volcanic/Exodia deck of all things that included the new Forbidden One support from DSoD, considering building that deck now as it's surprisingly consistent and certainly unique in this current format.
I love how all the decks you put in the legacy of the worthless are decks I thought about playing and all the deck archived are decks I still play today pretty often

In other cases, cards have been dropped in water and still work so it’s safe to assume these cards are a lot stronger than we give em credit for even if they can still be ripped up.
DJAizakku I know that Kaiba threw a Blue-Eyes to knock a switch out of someone's hand, but I thought the gun thing was Bakura (unless I'm just thinking of that tome he challenged a gun with a deck of cards and getting the two mixed up
Ultradragon16 Well in the Eng Dub Kaiba deliberately threw his Blue Eyes at a Rare Hunter to help Yugi during his duel with Joey. However, in the original version, Kaiba just drew a random card and used it to knock out the Rare hunter and it turned out to be Blue Eyes. There is also a deleted scene in which Kaiba disarmed one of Pegasus'men using Gyakutenno Megami and he mentioned that it was bent in the process.

God I love this archetype. It was all I ever wanted to run as a kid and now, as a semi functioning adult who managed to avoid debt somehow, I'm here to say I have 2 front to back binder pages dedicated to Doomfire and I touch it inappropriately from time to time.
Heck no, Doomfire isn’t even consistently played in their most competitive builds. Reload’s synergy with Scattershot single handily carry this archetype

Replace the lost two copies of Moralltech with Silver Sentinel, it's Moralltech with a gun.

Another case of card sturdiness is episode 6 of gx where jaden cracks into a fake millenium puzzle from across the room.
