noski33 I feel like it usually goes very well for him. To walk away with only 10s counting is icing on the cake. It’s also one of his favorite dives, so that’s probably why.😋
What a great competition. A shame to still see many dives judged on entry alone :( Many dives scoring 9/9.5 which weren't vertical on entry and should have been scored 8/8.5 and Benjamin Auffret's 5255B (38m 40s) scoring 8.5 across the board? Should have been scored 6 but every single judge clearly didn't see his bent legs for the first half of the dive.
Totally agree! I thought the judging was a bit rigged from the beginning, as I saw great dives getting underscored and sloppier dives getting overscored. Sad reality.
Good to see so many judges commenting on a UA-cam video. It's political like anything else that is judged by human decisions, get used to it, it's not going to change.
@@meredithwisler2577 Sadly I agree with you but I think that judges need to be far better educated as quite honestly, many of these 'human decisions' are poor, not subjective. Top level judges should be able to spot these errors and not be swayed purely by rip entries. I remember watching divers like Gao Min and Greg Louganis back in the 80's and 90's when diving was quite simply an art. Dives were performed with such flair and grace and it was an absolute joy to watch. You very rarely saw scores of 9 and above unless they were performed impeccably. Sadly now the emphasis in diving now is far more about quantity rather than quality. The super high tariff dives look absolutely spectacular when finished off with a rip entry but they are often performed poorly, yet are still marked with 8's and 9's which is such a shame for this wonderful spectator sport.
WTF 6/6?! Auffre with bent legs gets 8.5 points, then a Shleikher for the same jump with very good execution gets 8.5 also, and then a Bondar with spread legs gets 9.0...
Am I the only one feeling like the judges are a little biased? Seems like Chinese always get high marks across the board while some others are having near perfect dives but not scoring as high. It's just my opinion.
They get the highest marks because of their angle of entry. As a diver, we aim for the most straight up and down positions during the entry of a dive. It is easier to "rip" a dive than it is to be perfectly vertical..
Jamiepyt7 I thought the judging was mostly in point. The Chinese just tend to have a much better angle of entry and have superb form all the way through. At this level, the judges are even deducting for a lack of pointed feet at the beginning of the dive. They’re also very particular about piked positions. The Chinese are simply superior, even on the tiny details that most miss.
@@tonytony8747 The Chinese seem to carry less weight and be slimmer, so their entries are smoother (less water displaced). At least that's the way it strikes me.
Been following Tom Daley since he was 14 at the 2008 Olympics, I guess I'm a little biased, but he is good. Matty Lee and other UK divers are super supportive, love that!
Chen aisen is so cute!
I still love chen aisen!!!
Tom’s 207B was bang on the money!! His twister dive was also more controlled. So happy to see him do so well!
Avery Weinstein this was a perfect dive for Daley

Love Chen Aisen
Yes, cute. But no as*.
And WE are still PROUD of him today 6/9/24
TOM DALEY that is!!!!
I love Chen Aisen’s diving, but he seemed a bit off at this competition. His last dive was more of what I’m used to seeing from him.
Leave Chen Aisen alone! He gave his childhood for us!
The brave Yang Jian.. congrats..
19:00 Damn it. Stunning 👏
I love Chen Aisen, who was born in Year of the Pig
Never afraid of his "enemy". That's my Yang Jian.
陳艾生每次都真的给人驚吓,誏人吓着😔😔😔
EXCELENTE vídeo.
I like cgen aisen
陳艾森在第二次跳有無可能跳到底分,評判不知道評分,陳艾森希望你在法國巴黎奧運得到金牌,不要氣餒
Just here for daley😍💗💘
Why keep showing Tom's coach but not showing others' coach? What's so special about her?

So true. Aisen was way underscored.

杨健(Yang Jian) is the King 👑 - the King of Difficulty - also the Champion of this competition too. And the world’s diving champions as always 👍🏼
Why do I feel Yang Jian was not completing his dives? He doesn’t go all the way in, or he overrotates just a very very tiny more
5:00 was so fun 😂😂😂😂
????
Yup, he also say sorry, so cute ...:)
@@Anthony.53 kinda gay
Wow! Tom Daley.
Matty's so supportive!!!!
And adorable
Who's he?
@@tonytony8747 Matty is Toms 10m synchro partner. Woldclass both of them.
For this final, Yang Jian is the best, Chen Aisen the cutest!

Nope. Daley had great dives, yes, Yang Jian just did better.
Thomas Daley massively over-scored. again!
