- This is a showcase of what i call my "Create doors catalouge". You can use it whenever you need a fancy door (not always practical) with Create. What is your favourite?
World download in 1.18.1 and Forge (39.0.63) with Create 0.4 (it's messy so be prepared)
The world also has all of the doors in a field, with the mechanisms showing.

Everyone talks about how well done the doors are, but no one talks about how chaotic it would be to chase someone in that place.

I love the one that just uses a button to rotate an iron door 90 degrees.
Edit: Honorable mention to "move literally the entire hallway except the door" and "a gigantic clock you'd need to wait an entire minecraft day to enter" is that the only thing here that actually uses a command block?
Yes it is the only command block in the world, some gamerules was also turned on (i.e doMobSpawning), but nothing to do with the doors. It was just so hard without the commandblock and it still showed how the door works.
I should probably mention that all of the clips was taking in the same walkthrough and that made it hard to time it probably.
Well, the door itself didn't use the command block, right? It was there only to set the time
Rotating the arms like in a clock was done through a clockwork bearing ;)

That's why I only make the doors for it to look cool.
Having played with Create, I simply can't imagine going back to a Minecraft without it.

@@throg4657 I am playing on a kinda meh laptop, and recording. Create does lag when it goes to a large scale though.

Create in my opinion really is the best Minecraft mod ever made. The name says it all, it lets you CREATE, the whole reason we love Minecraft.
It fits so seamlessly with the rest of the game, it literally just lets you create and makes ideas possible. I mean I just watched a 10 minute video exclusively about DOORS.
This mod has been the first time I’ve been in any game and thought “What can’t I do?”

Amazing doors, I really loved the door that opened
Some of these are so technically impressive, but so, *so* dumb! I love it! I laughed out loud at the rotating iron door.
The clock, though, I *adore* without reservation. A room or building only accessible at a certain time of day? That’s cool, however impractical.
imagine like in your adventure map a secret magical cave with a bunch of optional goodies only accessible during a certain time of day
Imagine a moon temple that will literally count out every day that passes and only open at exactly 12:00 for 10 seconds on a full moon.
@@Corzappy is there a way to detect moon type? as far as i know moons are random on a night to night basis
@@darkdruidsvale Minecraft has a predictable lunar cycle just like real life. All you have to do is set up a system to count each day that passes and then on the night of the full moon have it switch so that it opens when it's midnight.
@@Corzappy really? I swear ive had the eclipse multiple days in a row, I’m guessing the only issue with this would be if a day passed well the structure was unloaded
Banger video, theres a lot of great ideas here for some inspiration for builds.
I particularly like the doors that turn into bridges or stairs.

@@Maelt_ really cool map, but can you pack it first to zip with 7-zip or other free program because on site that you used you cant download more that one thing at once you need premium for that andyou have to download aset by aset

This is suddenly one of my favourite videos on the internet! It's like Little Big Planet meets Kirin Jindosh's clockwork mansion, with relaxing background music! And it's reminiscent of the old Hatfilms 1.4 update video. This is wonderful!
That last door made me think of Terra Swoop Force. Would it be theoretically possible/possibly the most epic/laggy thing ever to remake TSP with Create? I'm talking *moving* dinosaurs, fishing trolls, the whole shebang.
Terra Swoop Force with Create sounds sick! My laptop would never have a chance of playing nor making it, but an elytra course with Create is definitely an interesting idea as well.
I'd love a tutorial for some of these. Especially that giant one at 6:32 and 8:11. I love designs like the one at 2:11 that are non-symetrical.
Lastly I'd love to say how cool the environment is and how much it compliments all these doors

as for a tutorial:
I was thinking if that is really needed. There is a world download and Create has schematics available in survival, so i don't see a use. If a lot start asking i will definitely do it, but that haven't happened.

@@Maelt_ you mean create offers these doors as schematics in survival like already made? Or do I misunderstand? I'd love to learn how to make these random things as well.
@@corbin1680 No, these are made by me. I meant Create has a built in schematic system, so you can easily copy them from my world.

This is an awesome video. I don't normally see a lot of original Create mod designs. You just earned yourself another subscriber. :D
My favorite kind of doors are the massive sort of bunker doors that slowly move their massive size out of the way, lazily yawning open.
Damn, I love how creative these designs are!

1:20 is probably my favorite of the bunch. Simply just lowered stairs to reveal a hidden room

I made an aperture door a while back on a huge scale. It was awesome but sadly had some issues, like I used minecart contraptions for whatever reason

Some of these doors remind me of those gates from the movie Robots where it's just a bunch of abstract shapes twisting and turning for a few seconds before actually turning into a functional open doorway

If only I had a PC and this mod cuz then I have massive amounts of ideas that would go with this and you could make a house in this entire area and put all of the doors there and then you can live there and the house can be known as "The House of Doors" and the ppl who live near by can have rumors of you and the house idk just thinking of role playing ideas.
