Truth be told, have been using Opera and Opera GX for several years now (2019ish). The difference of memory-hogging is astounding and I honestly never went back to Chrome or Firefox. I don't use the gaming features often since I don't often run into those issues (and I don't stream outside of games in my Discord group), but the lack of memory being sucked up was more than enough for me to switch over as I tend to have WAY too many tabs open (sometimes 50+...). Glad to see that they're getting the word out there, as I do think Opera is mostly ignored. Usually don't vouch for sponsors, but it's not RAID: SHADOW LEGENDS and I have plenty of experience with it.

For kokichi’s executions I’d like to think the last question would be the final blow being “do you regret lying?” And him saying no but gets shocked and dies.
I think with the Hajime one, him literally dissolving represents how his personality was removed or "dissolved" to make an "artifical product", AKA Izuru.
For Hajime's execution, if the joke is that Hajime is a base in chemistry because he's basic, then it should have turned green to show he's neutralised the acid that was red. Because the acid was red, that means it has a pH of 1 which is the most acidic something can get. To even neutralise that at all would require a pH of 14, the most basic something can get to set the acid to the neutral pH of 7. The colour of pH 7 is green. That shade of blue is the colour of pH 9. That is physically impossible unless the joke is that Hajime is so basic he breaks the laws of nature around acids and bases.
The joke is not that Hajime is basic. The joke is that Hajime was dissolved from his natural state to make something artificial, that being Izuru Kamukura.
IMO Miu would have made such an interesting blackened, I think she could have almost gotten away with it. It also would have given us more insight into why she made the choices she did in Chapter 4. Deep diving into her character and motivations would be so interesting!!
Agree, as angst this is, I always wonder what Kiibo reaction to Miu killing someone( either Gonta or Kokichi in this situation). It would heartbreaking as Miu(besides Kaede or Shuichi in his FTEs) is his only genuine friend.
If y’all want to see a really well written story where Miu is one of the blackened read “I’ll trade my life for yours” by grayimperia on ao3, it’s a complete rewrite of danganronpa v3 but instead of Kaede dying at the start, shuichi sacrifices himself so she lives and it’s just such a good book so give it a read it you have the time, it took me like 2 weeks to finish it with me obsessively reading it whenever I could lol
@@Ben-zz3ld I think if the rest of the game were to work, Gonta would still have to die, sadly. Kokichi is the antagonist, can't kill him off till Ch5 or later. Maybe instead of a hammer, she has a knife she manages to get him with while he's strangling her? Or maybe (and this is the more interesting option) she manages to teleport herself out with the cellphone, poisons Gonta, fucks with the programming to make it seem like she never left, and goes back into the game. She could have killed Kokichi, but Gonta is the more immediate threat and it would be much harder for her to get away with two murders, not one. Plus, now she has another scapegoat, who is already well-known as a liar. It would've made for a super interesting trial, as Kokichi would likely turn into the boy who cried wolf, being completely truthful but Miu trying to frame him, and mostly succeeding until Saihara figures it out (Hypothetical scenario: Miu does end up freezing Kokichi in the virtual world. Kaito thinks he hears someone walking around the real world, but is too busy being sick or smth to pay much attention to it. Miu goes back into the virtual world, fucks with the crime scene to erase any evidence of her being there and then leaves, where she is seen by another player. Later, the gang discovers the frozen Kokichi and Gonta, and leave the game, where they discover the body. We know Miu isn't the best liar (she wasn't exactly subtle with her breaking the bridge) so she probably slips up and says she was never on the roof, which is contradicted by Kokichi's frozen state, and the other player's account.)
The Saihara execution has already been one of my faves. It hits especially hard considering we know how much Saihara grew throughout the game, for all of that to be shoved into his face is pretty rough.
The thing that amazes me most is how these fanmade executions look so much like the original danganronpa style. It’s like if they are canon. Great video :D
A fan execution I really like is for an OC character actually: You have the execution of the Ultimate Dancer and the Ultimate Puppeteer which are both classic, but I also love the one for the Ultimate Virtual Caretaker (Basically the ultimate tamagotchi player). It's creative and brutal.
The SHSL Virtual Caretaker one really exceeded my expectations and had some of the (honestly horrifying) brutality that was present in all of V3's executions
As cool as they are, is a bit sad that a lot of fan executions don't take in account the themes of the executions of the killing game that the other characters take part on. The executions on THH are all inside the school (a indoors sport field, an auditorium, a classroom...) and (aside from Junko's) are more simplistic. All of them just strap the blackened on some thematic death machine that either prolongs the pain (Leon and Mondo) or make the blackened anxious (Celestia and Makoto/Kyoko). On SDR2 , the executions were more nonsensical and over the top, because they were not bound by realism on a simulation. Also, they all mess with their talents and with something that just rubbs a lot of salt on the wound, being more personal than any other execution on the franchise (Teruteru dislikes junk food;Peko not only fails to protect Fuyuhiko but also hurts him; Mikan dilikes oversized things and the execution remembers her of her traumas; Gundam thinks that he is a devil but goes to heaven; and Chiaki is bad at Tetris); Than, in V3, the executions are more cinematic. They are more complex than in THH but less bizarre than the ones in SDR2, and all of them tell a little story, even if the story is more foccused on the Monokubs (Gonta), or in other factors (Kaito's illness or Kaede passing the protagonist torch and a little of trauma to Shuichi).
There's actually a pretty well writen fanfic that shows Shuichi being executed instead of Kaede, just in case you were interested! It's called "I'd Trade My Life for Yours"
Hope Rantaro's fanmade execution "12 strikes of Midnight" is in this video. It's genuinely a cruel and frightening execution for an AU where Ibuki is the MC.
Also to add on the interpretation of Izuru's execution, you know how sometimes snowglobes are used to represent an important event and to be put on display? Hope's Peak thought that the birth of Kamukura was their greatest work yet, a very important event, but in the end they didn't even do anything with him, and he was nothing more than just a display of their achievements.
Imagine in Miu's execution, after she got caught and killed in the virtual world, she wakes up in the real world just to experience the pain of death again.
The way I see Ryoma’s execution (which is rlly painful when you think abt it) is him realizing HOW MUCH he wants to live. The utter fear and terror on his face doesn’t match someone who’s given up on life but rather someone who’s been so held back by the past just now realizing how much they have in the present. Anyway I’m just gonna go cry for a bit 😭
I know how to make Kokichi's execution ( even tho he's one of my favorites) more despair inducing. Do the same thing but have dice strap to electric chairs as well and each time he lies they all get shocked but one by one each member get shocked more then the others and one by one they all die in front of him. After the last member dies Kokichi feels more despair because of his lying his " family " dies as a result of his lying and to make it worse monokuma shocks him with a powerful shock ( the shocks before they were like shocks you get when you touch metal) with him screaming ( like how Kirumi , when she's falling during hers ) with him finally dying , but they do a close up of his face and he's smiling.
Shuichi’s was definitely my favorite. I can totally see Tsumugi erasing and reprogramming the brains of other people who look just like the people who died just to mentally rend Shuichi before death. Also, 1000% interested in seeing your ideas for executions. If you do Ibuki, let her go out right like Gundham. She was my absolute favorite and she deserved better.
For komaeda it would have been funny if all of the darts miss him because its monokumas turn But on his all of the darts get machinegunned exactly in the center And then he also gets crushed by the casino jackpot.

Actually, if Hajime is a base or more commonly known as an alkali, it would turn green to symbolise the substance neutralising like an acid does with a base if the acid had some universal indicator put in it before hand. It would turn it from very red to green. pH 1, 2 or 3 to pH 7. Everything below pH 7 is an acid while everything above pH 7 is a base. pH 7 itself is the neutral. Neither acid nor base.
Shuichi Saiharas brings words cut deep like a knife to a whole new meaning Edit: I think Hajime turned to water because he's normal and he's being experimented on I think has a connection to Izuru.
To be fair, regarding Komaeda enjoying his execution, his actual death was probably the closest to a cruel execution and it was because of himself deliberatively doing it, so he'd probably find it enjoyable at least at some point lmao
My very own komaeda fan execution is similar to the dartboard one, also includes elements weeby came up w/ Content warning bc it's violent!!! . . . When Monokuma fires dartboards at him they keep missing and it makes monokuma frustrated. Nagito looks way too happy! The dartboard starts spinning around like a lottery spinny thing and nagito starts getting hit and starts being increasingly in pain+gets dizzy from the spinning. (maybe insert some background flamwthrower cannons for extra flair). The look on his face gets real wack and the execution either ends with: 1) he gets hit right in the face w/ a dart. The dartboard slows to a stop and there's confetti! It mixes w/ the blood on the floor OR 2) the dartboard comes off the the thingy it's attached to and falls over. Nagito gets horribly smashed to death. Maybe confetti here too? And like a victorious "dadadata-dadataaa!!" sound effect
I kind of wish the Kokichi one involved him lying for the entire test and being electrocuted, and then finally he choses to tell the truth, you see the green checkmark on the screen and Monokuma's visible surprise, before he flips another lever sending the boulder to kill him. I think it would be way more tragic if being truthful really is his death sentence.
Tbh shuichi’s fan made execution is one of my favs, I think someone said somewhere it stranded he hates Gossip so this just adds up and as a saimatsu shipper I felt a lot of pain 😭
16:28 The words that Monokuma scribbles out (超高校級の???) is SHSL (Ultimate) ??? (so basically Hajime’s title) and the words that they get replaced with (予備学科) is Reserve Course.
As soon as I saw the Miu one in the thumbnail, I had to click right away. Despite being unfinished, that one is definitely one of my favorites. Shuichi's is also one of my favorites, but I also hate it because of how much it hurts. T_T

Thought I do love this fan made execution for Ryoma, it felt like a mix between Peko and Leon's executions. But I honestly prefer the one that Kira came up with in their V3 fanfic.
Man this video was brutal! Of course a follow up video would be cool, but I kinda wanna see Weeby react to that video in her feed, "How to survive Danganronpa." The dude on the video is basically covering the main events of the first game and what he would do to survive. It's a fun video. I'd also like to see her react to a Game Grumps Danganronpa compilation video. Seeing her reaction to their fairly accurate guesses, Arin's Monokuma voice and of course, Italian Sayaka, would be priceless.
Eitherway, I just feel sorry about Miu and yeah, she is practically my waifu. So Spike Chunsoft really had a terrible choice killing her especially the fact that they had to use Gonta as Kokichi's accomplice. So horrible scenario. Really hard to come back from such a turn of event. Eitherway even if her ways were working on her favor killing Kokichi, her execution is on fire. Still freakin sad that they kill her even tho the one created the execution just made a well done job there with the animation.

There is another cool fanmade execution, one of Rantaro, on youtube (made by Maddinosaur). Its audio and concept are terrifying and it might be one of my favorites (even though it wasn't completely finished)
After watching the anime, I honestly feel so bad for Nagito. There's a bunch of elements that aren't really directly talked about, at least to my recollection. **Spoilers** Also, some scenes in the game make it seem like he is one of the few people in the NEO WORLD program who actually remembers the despair of Junko's Ultimate Despair Video
I had my own idea for kokichis execution, Prince of lies Kokichi is on a podium, with thousands of monokumas revolting against him. His job is to calm them down, but can’t lie. The first one was mad because *name victim here* died. Kokichi doesn’t know what to do in this situation. He ends up passing the first one, and moves on to the second. He keeps doing it until the final 5, the original. They’re mad because he’s not here. They’re mad because he’s the reason they’re in prison. He ends up lying. They glare at him, and leave him for dead. Slowly, he wakes up in a prison cell, and being brought against his will to an execution room. He is put on the electric chair. He ends up getting 4 questions, same number as the name ‘D.I.C.E’. He ends up getting questions on mostly shuichi. First one is: “do you really think he can even trust you?” He says yes, a small voltage shocks him. “Do you think he needs you when he has Kaito?” “Do you think they’ll come back?” “You’re alone kokichi, and you always will be.” A high voltage shocks him, from the feet up. He passes out. While unconscious, he gets brought into a room. A terrifying noise plays, and a flesh colored dice is all that is shown. The screen fades. He’s not my least favorite, he’s my favorite. If I have a favorite, I do the most gruesome things for them.
I suspected Ryoma of being the culprit in chapter 1. I mean he literally killed someone with his tennis skills and then Rantaro (who he had an argument with) got a shot put ball striked through his head.
For the Miu execution, maybe she was so preoccupied with the virtual world that she didn't know that the saw was actually going to cut her in real life because she wasn't moving from her spot
This comment is on the shuichi video, but I like it so much ima recomment it. A head canon about it is that monokuma had to install sound proof walls so that shuichi couldn't hear everyone shouting that the rumours weren't true.
Kokichi’s execution should be called “interrogation“. Every lie he said in the game is asked to him as a question, and if he tells the truth, a dice monokuma gets shot, but if he lies he gets shocked instead. The final question would be ”Do you care for your classmates?” He smiles, says “Never did”, then gets electrocuted, dying with a smile.
I actually quite like both hajime’s and izuru’s execution, with the monokuma pulling the opposite rope for both (Izuru’s being on the right with Hajime’s being on the left) as well as Hajime falling while Izuru rising.
If Nagito would think his execution would give the others hope, that's exactly how you really give him his despair. You make him think no one's watching or caring
I love how any person that has a talent that involves balls got pair up with a pitching machine with a kinetic power of nuclear fission, ive seen max setting pitching machine and the best it could do is bruised me not actually open a wound, but hey this is danganronpa
Thing is, if you look closely at the balls being fired at Ryoma, you'll notice that they're not ordinary tennis balls. They're iron balls--the exact same weapon he used to murder the mafia. And if a single one of those was able to shatter the skull of a mafia member, then of course getting hit with them would leave Ryoma with some broken bones.

Not gonna lie, I can totally see Saihara's execution actually being in the anime/game if he weren't the protagonist. It's so fitting, and I feel like the animators would absolutely do it.
I think Nagito’s execution would have been cool to be him on some contraption that is connected to a slot machine will kill him if it monokuma wins, but because he’s so lucky the machine just never lands on anything good so Monokuma gets impatient and does it himself. Say, like a big hammer was set to drop on him if Monokuma won and he just grabs the hammer himself and whacks Nagito with it
There's also a bit of a reference in Kokichi's message to Shuichi's execution! "Your alone, Kokichi. You will always be." Shuichi said to Kokichi after Gonta's execution and also before Kokichi died!

Hope's Peak thought that the birth of Kamukura was their greatest work yet, a very important event, but in the end they didn't even do anything with him, and he was nothing more than just a display of their achievements.
Imagine in Miu's execution, after she got caught and killed in the virtual world, she wakes up in the real world just to experience the pain of death again.

The way I see Ryoma’s execution (which is rlly painful when you think abt it) is him realizing HOW MUCH he wants to live. The utter fear and terror on his face doesn’t match someone who’s given up on life but rather someone who’s been so held back by the past just now realizing how much they have in the present. Anyway I’m just gonna go cry for a bit 😭

I know how to make Kokichi's execution ( even tho he's one of my favorites) more despair inducing. Do the same thing but have dice strap to electric chairs as well and each time he lies they all get shocked but one by one each member get shocked more then the others and one by one they all die in front of him. After the last member dies Kokichi feels more despair because of his lying his " family " dies as a result of his lying and to make it worse monokuma shocks him with a powerful shock ( the shocks before they were like shocks you get when you touch metal) with him screaming ( like how Kirumi , when she's falling during hers ) with him finally dying , but they do a close up of his face and he's smiling.

Shuichi’s was definitely my favorite. I can totally see Tsumugi erasing and reprogramming the brains of other people who look just like the people who died just to mentally rend Shuichi before death. Also, 1000% interested in seeing your ideas for executions. If you do Ibuki, let her go out right like Gundham. She was my absolute favorite and she deserved better.

other interpreterion of hajimes execution: maybe its that hes basic and is like a base in chemistry and he reacts with the acid and thats why the liquid turns blue in the end (if thats how it is pls someone confirm cuz i have forgotten a lot abt chemistry)
Actually, if Hajime is a base or more commonly known as an alkali, it would turn green to symbolise the substance neutralising like an acid does with a base if the acid had some universal indicator put in it before hand. It would turn it from very red to green. pH 1, 2 or 3 to pH 7. Everything below pH 7 is an acid while everything above pH 7 is a base. pH 7 itself is the neutral. Neither acid nor base.

When Monokuma fires dartboards at him they keep missing and it makes monokuma frustrated. Nagito looks way too happy! The dartboard starts spinning around like a lottery spinny thing and nagito starts getting hit and starts being increasingly in pain+gets dizzy from the spinning. (maybe insert some background flamwthrower cannons for extra flair). The look on his face gets real wack and the execution either ends with:
1) he gets hit right in the face w/ a dart. The dartboard slows to a stop and there's confetti! It mixes w/ the blood on the floor
OR
2) the dartboard comes off the the thingy it's attached to and falls over. Nagito gets horribly smashed to death. Maybe confetti here too? And like a victorious "dadadata-dadataaa!!" sound effect
I kind of wish the Kokichi one involved him lying for the entire test and being electrocuted, and then finally he choses to tell the truth, you see the green checkmark on the screen and Monokuma's visible surprise, before he flips another lever sending the boulder to kill him. I think it would be way more tragic if being truthful really is his death sentence.

Man this video was brutal! Of course a follow up video would be cool, but I kinda wanna see Weeby react to that video in her feed, "How to survive Danganronpa." The dude on the video is basically covering the main events of the first game and what he would do to survive. It's a fun video. I'd also like to see her react to a Game Grumps Danganronpa compilation video. Seeing her reaction to their fairly accurate guesses, Arin's Monokuma voice and of course, Italian Sayaka, would be priceless.
Eitherway, I just feel sorry about Miu and yeah, she is practically my waifu. So Spike Chunsoft really had a terrible choice killing her especially the fact that they had to use Gonta as Kokichi's accomplice. So horrible scenario. Really hard to come back from such a turn of event. Eitherway even if her ways were working on her favor killing Kokichi, her execution is on fire. Still freakin sad that they kill her even tho the one created the execution just made a well done job there with the animation.

I had my own idea for kokichis execution,
Prince of lies
Kokichi is on a podium, with thousands of monokumas revolting against him. His job is to calm them down, but can’t lie. The first one was mad because *name victim here* died. Kokichi doesn’t know what to do in this situation. He ends up passing the first one, and moves on to the second. He keeps doing it until the final 5, the original. They’re mad because he’s not here. They’re mad because he’s the reason they’re in prison. He ends up lying. They glare at him, and leave him for dead. Slowly, he wakes up in a prison cell, and being brought against his will to an execution room. He is put on the electric chair. He ends up getting 4 questions, same number as the name ‘D.I.C.E’. He ends up getting questions on mostly shuichi. First one is: “do you really think he can even trust you?” He says yes, a small voltage shocks him. “Do you think he needs you when he has Kaito?” “Do you think they’ll come back?” “You’re alone kokichi, and you always will be.” A high voltage shocks him, from the feet up. He passes out. While unconscious, he gets brought into a room. A terrifying noise plays, and a flesh colored dice is all that is shown. The screen fades.
He’s not my least favorite, he’s my favorite. If I have a favorite, I do the most gruesome things for them.

A head canon about it is that monokuma had to install sound proof walls so that shuichi couldn't hear everyone shouting that the rumours weren't true.
Shuichi's execution was awesome
Kokichi’s execution should be called “interrogation“. Every lie he said in the game is asked to him as a question, and if he tells the truth, a dice monokuma gets shot, but if he lies he gets shocked instead. The final question would be ”Do you care for your classmates?” He smiles, says “Never did”, then gets electrocuted, dying with a smile.
I actually quite like both hajime’s and izuru’s execution, with the monokuma pulling the opposite rope for both (Izuru’s being on the right with Hajime’s being on the left) as well as Hajime falling while Izuru rising.
I’m making my own danganronpa fangame. There’s a character who survives his execution physically, but he is forever dead inside.

Thing is, if you look closely at the balls being fired at Ryoma, you'll notice that they're not ordinary tennis balls. They're iron balls--the exact same weapon he used to murder the mafia. And if a single one of those was able to shatter the skull of a mafia member, then of course getting hit with them would leave Ryoma with some broken bones.

I think Nagito’s execution would have been cool to be him on some contraption that is connected to a slot machine will kill him if it monokuma wins, but because he’s so lucky the machine just never lands on anything good so Monokuma gets impatient and does it himself. Say, like a big hammer was set to drop on him if Monokuma won and he just grabs the hammer himself and whacks Nagito with it
