Edit: Tho giving it a second thought, at least we can find some redeeming qualities for Teruteru, while Mineta has none.

I will say, in my opinion, this is something the writing in V3 really subverts in many cases, like with Himiko's and Shuichi's and even Kyo's (as strange as that is to say) arcs, although obviously Kaito bounces back really suddenly from loss in a way that feels more similar to how characters in past games do, so I understand his inclusion here. I guess for me personally his actions, however impulsive and unwavering on a surface level they often are, seem sufficiently motivated by his feelings of loss, especially following the conclusions of the 1st and 4th cases.
At 8:30, Another reason Shuichi is a more relateable protag. He never truely gets over Kaede's death.

Now for the later deaths, it would make more sense to have some form of emotional impact since you been with that person significantly longer. Similar to how Shuichi went into a depressive state when (I forgotten who it was) died later on and lost the will to press forward.

i liked that theatric performance. i find interesting that anyone who voted wrong died and the way they transformed the 4th trial, they cut out the 3rd trial by combining the victims between the second and 4th. Even tho the outcome is the same it was neat to see. And at least Celeste used her talent in a more direct way like nagito does.
Edit: Nevermind, i thought it was referring to the theatric performance, but when i saw it in the video it was an even better adaptation.
