Today, we're returning to the Marvel Legends Bonebreaker wave with a look at Maggot.

I was barely if at all familiar with this character before this figure, but the quality of this release has impressed me. Lots of paint and sculpt it’s just a shame his shirt wasn’t sculpted on.
They were smart to make his collar bone the separation point, though, so it almost feels like there is a physical division there.
"Im blue dabadi dabada....sorry what was i telling you?" That figure caught my attention totally,great review,i agree with your opinion on windowless boxes,most of the figures i have its because i could see the figure,now that feel will desappear

Excellent review! Nice job there, it was hilarious and I definitely agree with the head thing haha and I also love that MS Sabretooth and agree he's the best one yet! Long time without seeing him in a review, that was also nice. If I had the chance, I would get this guy out of your review!

Thanks for the video review it was great. A character totally unknown at the time of its reveal, I must say out of the wave, this one would get my vote for the best. As if maggots weren't enough of an accessory, a gun is added with the BAF head. Personally, a stern look or angry look head sculpt for Maggot would have been my choice.
I'm conflicted, because it's nice to see characters smile once in a while, but I feel like I'm case something either stern or static would have looked better. At least less creepy lol
Since Maggot has pinless arms it really annoys me they weren’t able to retool them when they did Hercules. Not the end of the world just a quality of life thing.
Thank you for this review found this at Burlington you convince me to take it off-the-shelf and now that I know it's the Hercules body I plan to take it apart to see if it can be kitbashed!! Thanks!!

Ideally, she should be a 100% new sculpt. They might be able to get away with reusing legs and arms though with a new head, torso, and hands. Will see. I am pretty curious about that one too

‘Tis surprising how many blue mutants there are.
I think since we associate red with devils and (as Marvel fans) green with Hulk (or I guess aliens), blue just became the default mutant color because we didn't have another other associations with it. And purple is usually a villain color at Marvel, so that wouldn't have worked either.
Wait of all the mutants why would they make this dude he’s not even in the comics anymore or ever was popular
I think it mainly came down to reuse. It was a clever way to get more out of the Hercules mold and add some variety to the shelf with a minimum of new parts.

Did the artists and action figure designers know that Maggot is Black and should have Afro-Centric features oooooor???
As even a casual fan, I actually didn't know that myself, so I'm going to guess they probably didn't either.
