It’s funny how his gun accessories are actually based on nerf guns but it’s not the first time Hasbro has done it. But hey lovely to see this wonderful figure and perfect timing to the Marvel VS Capcom Fighting Collection.
Even though the guns don't look real I'd rather fake looking guns then no guns at all like other lines

This figure’s great, I was very fortunate to find one at my local comic book store for retail price, I hope more people can get their hands on this one.

Lots of reviewers have pointed out flaws and missed opportunities. A big one for me is all the bright yellow bits that BEG for extra detail like washes, dry brushing or other paint tricks. I'll still snag this Cable when I can, since all the other blue/yellow versions are either too expensive, too dinky, or both.
I agree there are definitely opportunities for extra paint in all those lines and crevices. Especially given how nicely painted the face is. Still, this is what I have come to expect from pretty much everyone at this point
If you ask me, a lot of figures these days could do with a dry brush or a bit of a repaint in general.
6:44 Deadpool is in MVC.... only in MVC3 and UMVC3 which is a shame, I hope they add him tp future games.
MvC 5 needs to have an MvC 2 size roster 🙏

the dounle barrel comes from the older cable and comic crossbone. the 6 barrel gun comes from bishop i believe

Cable's blasters are acturally scaled down renders of Hasbro Nerf blasters. i recognized the molds.
is on my list, only know Cable from the Deadpool/ Cable comicbooks and the second Deadpool movie
My intro to Cable was the original X-Men Animated Series, and I'll admit it took me a while to warm up to him
Also what I knew him from, I grew up grabbing the occasional issue from the library.
I feel like including two pistols from Liefeld Version of Cable And not including his psimitar spear, Is a missed opportunity that border lines on incompetence on the part of hasbro.
I don't know what it is but that head sculpt looks really good and since I do not have him I will get him because I do like Nathan Summers aka Cable and get looks so very badass with those dope guns

The Mcfarlane weapons pack 2 in my opinion have some great guns to go with this, for the people that understandably don’t like the guns. Love the figure so much I can’t even display it.
I was thinking about that weapons pack as well.

man i’m glad i got him for retail at first i didn’t like him cuz the pouches aren’t painted but he grew on me. but this is the first gun i had to upgrade by buying bigger guns for him since the ones he came with are disappointingly small (and arms and guns are reused)
At this point, I'm used to nobody shading things like belts and pouches. Boy I miss the 2000s sometimes lol
Tbh his legs look kinda odd to me, but that head sculpt is really well done tho. 2/3 ar challenge star fig and 3/3 ar challenge star review 😎

Do you think you'll ever try to review any of the two new Venom figures they've announced? I'm pretty excited for both of them.
I do want that Retro card with the updated torso articulation. I'm not sure about the movie one, but we'll see.
