A Botanical Ark for the Laurels of North Queensland

In the uplands of Queensland's northeastern uplands lie a botanical treasure - an "ark" in Yungaburra, Atherton Tablelands, which was once planted with a large number of species of native laurel trees (Lauraceae) some 30 odd years ago. SFS Australia students in our Dry 2023 semester explored this arboretum and devised ways we could revitalize this national treasure.
