Thanks for the tip on drinking. I quit smoking on March 29th 1977 but until three weeks ago I had never gone over one or two nights without alcohol since I was 19- and I am almost 74. Four weeks ago a friend of mine said he was going to stop drinking for Lent and for some reason I decided to try it. I have now gone four weeks without a drink- and for some reason- (as with smoking after a week) I don't seem to really miss it. I could never drink just one glass- I had to have at least four so even though I have never had any family or job issues because of it and have not had a hangover for forty years, I still feel better about myself than I did before the start of Lent. As of now, I plan to not start up again after Easter.

The main problem with women like this is they want a top 1% guy in every way. Shes only shilling herself for that kind of guy, but these type of man just lives the dream of every man. Pump and dump. Sounds like a lot of talk. I need to see the proof

Her super honesty is pretty refreshing.
I also stop smoking with Alan Carrs book "It's easy to stop smoking" ! Great stuff! She is so honest and open, great comedian too! Sending love and to find true love!
This girl is really starving for a relationship.
Michael Tanner All single women are.
100% not true
I think it's hard for celebs to be in a relationship.
@Emmerich August is she a vegan?
@@mbm432 what makes you an expert?
Damn man. Listening to her neuroses and issues makes me want to hug her so hard and not hold her hand at the same time.
I thought this would be all comedy. I'm sure she'll meet the right guy. She's brave to put it all out there which probably helps a lot of others.
Her candor is so amazing.
I normally disconnect every now and them from a 10+ minute interview BUT HERE I mean I was hooked all the way... I felt like I was in the same table as they.
Such a sad but revealing commentary on the empty promise of casual hook-ups, refreshingly honest about the genuine connections we really crave.
I didn't know the kid from sandlot had his own talkshow
Ranger77 fuck off 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
"He was mean to me, and when guys are mean to me, im like uuugggh, ill just blow you". Some real solid advice there ladies.
An honest answer from a person who is missing the most important aspect of life.. love, respect and appreciation... her talks certainly expresses her feelings...
I can't tell what is her act and what is real. It's AWESOME!!!!
People she a comedian. This is her job.
" I wanna HOLD your ✋ Nikki G "💚
I want an open & honest woman like her in my life.
You would have to match her energy, and be wise enough to learn to live with things you can't change, like her restless mind. She seems like a catch, but you'd have to a helluva man to be her match.
I think we all crush on Nikki💗 love her honesty and bluntness
Real comedians discuss their lives and Nikki puts hers front and center. I really enjoyed her Netflix special.
Gives up one addiction for another.
Cannabis, if that's what you referring to, is not nearly as destructive or addictive as alcohol.
@@donaldsmyth727 she's probably referring to sex. And made that comment because she isn't having any herself.
Never realized that hand holding thing was such a big deal and could have that kind of effect. I'm guessing a good amount of other guys don't know that either.
Like many comedians, she talks a lot of sense. Also, refreshing honesty.
Good for you Nikki! Sex is a lot more complicated and emotionally involved than we tend to treat it. As a guy I can actually completely relate to everything you've said here. We have to be real about our emotions and intimacy and what it all entails.
Nikki is honestly exposing the pair bond phenomenon, and not really understanding it.
FACTS
Sounds like she's just starting to understand it, but she still doesn't know how to deal with it.
@ The more sexual partners a woman has in her life, the less she is able to find "the one". It's biological.
💯
she's so open and its hilarious
She's amazing. That's so strong to quit smoking & drinking. I'm impressed and wish her the best!
I think her honesty is refreshing!
To quote Fawlty Towers - “There’s enough material there for an entire conference...”
Shes what the ‘Call Her Daddy’ girls are gonna end up like at her age
who are the call her daddy girls???
Please explain WTF you mean by that phrase....
Valley Girl a hussy like you should know...
@@donaldwilson3579 Ohhhhh.... So now I'm a hussy huh? Wow! Someone's a brilliant wordsmith here! How TF does my question constitute your response of calling me a hussy? Shall I wager the fact you're simply just an incel hiding behind your mama?
@@nomoresunforever3695 he sure TF did! His words words were " A hussy like you should know" ... How would you take that comment?
She talking about the guy she was close with during dancing with the stars I think lol
Hit the showers. Hair looks like a greasy shit mop.
She's being flippant about it and using it for comedy, but she's right that a lot of people are way too casual about intimacy, without realizing the long term emotional ramifications until they've either desensitized themselves or have driven themselves to emotional instability. At least she had the sense to recognize how it was affecting her and to take it more seriously.
How can anyone watch this and post a negative comment? She is being very honest and her accomplishments are very admirable.
This ted talk was awesome.
Damn it sounds a bit messed. She wants a relationship but she's shelling herself the wrong way. She needs help.
The main problem with women like this is they want a top 1% guy in every way. Shes only shilling herself for that kind of guy, but these type of man just lives the dream of every man. Pump and dump. Thats it. All the other 99% of men are invisible to her. In small this also is the reason why western industrialized societies will die a slow death in the future.
She is funny as hell (her Baldwin roast was amazing) but WOW, what a trainwreck...
N F LMAOOO! I know. And her with no makeup is yuck. Shes lucky it exists
Bruce Jenner LOLOL! Epic username u troll😂😂
Bruce Jenner ✋🏽
@@JimmyStruthers1000 How about "Bruce Jender Fraud"? Go ahead, you can use/troll it.
First: She wears Make-up
Second: She sits is super sad light, thats not herself that looks so corpse-like
She looks pretty
I would 100% hold Nikki's hand on the first date, for the exact reason she wants someone to.
😳She is unapologetically honest about her ups and downs🌟
I'm about to celebrate 34 years of sobriety and I used to be a standup. The only time I ever blacked out was onstage and it freaked me out WAY more than if I just couldn't remember driving home. The idea that I had done an entire set while pretty much unconscious not only freaked me out about my drinking, but made me question my career, because if I could do a set without thinking I probably needed a new act.
This interview from Nikki Glaser is honest, funny, and endearing.
She’s gonna own a lot of cats
she has 5 already
If she can manage to keep 5 cats alive she must be more together than what she sounds like.
Beats the hell out of being married to a man!
One day!
I have 6 and I feel the same way she does 🤷♀️
Who else thought Nikki specials were better than all Amy Schumer specials but neither of them were actually really special.
I thought Nikki and Whitney's specials were the best female specials but the males had better ones overall
She is a little less unfunny than Amy Schumer
Women aren't funny. It's not in their nature.
@ i used to think this but there are those rare women you come across who are pretty funny. only met like one or two in my life tho.
@ you haven't met all the women.
"fun" talk about actually serious things. thanks for this
I really like getting weird in the bedroom, fun weird, playful! Also, great book recommendations! I have a family member struggling with quitting smoking. I am going to get her that book! :D
I'm holding women's hands on all my first dates now.
That's a good way to scare off a girl.
No Newfriends yeah id say 3rd date lol
Me too 👍😎
Interlocked handholding on first date ✅
Lmao
Wow guys actually do that kind of shit on purpose ✅
It's old school, and basically just a way of stepping up to the plate, hoping for at least a walk to first base.
Cue all the comments about sex🙄
And hardly any comments about how amazing it is that she got sober and stayed sober for so long💪👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Sinead R because sex was the topic of conversation that SHE was pushing. Other videos where the topic was about her sobriety were filled with comments of congrats
Watching a stand up special is not a chore when it's good... I've watched and rewatched all of Kevin Hart's and Dave Chapelle's specials many many times and each time they were all delightful and funny to watch. Of course some bits were less exciting than others, but it was never boring. If you're good, then you're just freaking good.
she meant other comedians
God i love everything about her face! This video is so nice seeing her actual eyelids. That german/nordic/polish look is so rare.
