I’m knitting a cowl as I watch. I may crochet some stuffies and a sweater next. I always have vanilla socks going. The Crazy Sock Lady and Professor Purl have good sock patterns too!
Hello Hatty. I'm a retired wet side knitter in southwest WA. I love the view over your shoulder; similar to mine on all sides of my home. I'm working on Purl Soho's Porto blanket with their Yarn on a Cone. It's big and full of charts and texture. That Deep Winter hat pattern is very tempting, and could be a nice break in the blanket project (it's already too big to be portable) which will probably take two or three more months to complete. OTOH, I've got the Kalaloch Cable beanie in my library already. My NYE cast on plan is the Riptide Slipover for my BFF. In 2025 I hope to knit the Nia Sweater by Irene Lin for myself. Love your channel!
This winter I will knit one cardigan. I am also planning on working on a cable sweater as well as colorwork with the Autumn Alpine Bloom. I’m looking forward to seeing your knits. Happy holidays. 😊
Hello😊, Audrey Borrego does pretty (cuff down!) socks too. Every year she brings out 5 or so new pairs with a theme. Next year's theme is colourwork and her first pair looks stunning! (do not think it is out already but she showed the proces of making them in her December videos). She's French but her patterns are available in English too. Hope this will give you some inspiration. 🐏🌹
Thank you for telling me about her! I just looked her up and her patterns are STUNNING! I already found a couple of sock patterns I’d like to try but I love her garments as well. This is exciting!
@@hattyknitsalong I'm so happy to read that! I think she is an underrated designer, maybe because of the French? She has a birthday sale around the 1st of June and she gives a discount on her sock patterns during October, if you can wait that long! 😅
Great video! I appreciate your easygoing manner. I really like everything you make and you are motivating me to knit socks. Thank you dear. 😊
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Socks are so fun!

Thank you for a great podcast! I’ve been wanting to do a zanete knits sock pattern. Like the rhubarb and custard socks.

Wow that blanket sounds like it will be quite the accomplishment when you’re finished!
Wonderful plans! Very excited to see them live! Merry Christmas 🎄🤎
Thank you! You too!

BTW I'm knitting an I'm the beach sweater by Isabell Kraemer, it's the 3d time I use this (free!) pattern.
