Nice little session. I'd not caught a tinka since I was about 12 years old and I'm 41 now. I'm so glad I got it out of them lilly roots and banked it to break the 29 year tenchless streak. They truly are a stunning fish. It was a lovely little pond to fish 👌🐟🎣
Yeah looking back I think it was an easy 4 now... rubbish at guessing Tench weights lol. Hope your fishing is going well Steve? All the best for the new season pal 👍🎣
Cheers Mark, not quite in the same league as your fish tho.... I really need to have a few more sessions for Tench as they are awesome creatures... all the best my friend & tight lines out there 👍🎣
@@Sylakk Not sure if that is a tongue in cheek joke or worse not but i do not lie about my weights and never will, I personally despise people that lie..
@@francolinobasco hahaha no I know the fish you catch are big mark. I'm always told I hold my fish too close to my chest or the wrong angle, or leaning over it. To be honest I don't know how you take such good pics on your own. I meant no offence
Yeah deffo think I underestimated that fish, must of been at least 4lb maybe 4.5lb... should of weighed him.. thanks for watching pal n all the best in your fishing this season 👍 🎣
Cheers man, yeah i like to get a few Tench sessions in in the close season months, fantastic fish to catch, Yeah Bream can be difficult to avoid sometimes.. I've had a few on my Barbel sessions lately lol. All the best mate :)
Nice to some slimy tincas! Another good place for them is Darfield Pit Pond, it’s always good for a few tench (and big bream) in the spring/summer. How’s your river season started? Have you been out yet?
Hi mate, I'll have to check out the pit pond then 👍, season started OK thanks had a few Chub n Bream, no Barbel yet but Dave had one , seen a few about in our fave stretch pal 😉. How did your Don session go mate?
@@yorkshireriverrover7199 one chub in six hours, but I’ll be back to work it out. Had three chub, a roach and a 4lb Ide from the Dearne the day after. Hoping to get out after work today. Nice one on the barbel for Dave!
@@MrTim207 that's a cracking Ide mate 👍, sure you will bag a few from the Don if you keep at it... I fished the Darfield Dearne on Wednesday n had a few lovely Perch out 😃. Enjoy your Summer fishing pal, all the best 👍 🎣
