LOL your whole video is EXACTLY how i use my GRT. The first tip is my go to everyday (always on 6-22 / lift to wake off) Used to have lift to wake also but its realy annoyoing to see the watch on/off every second. The minimal look of an always on is perfect. Great video!
Excellent video. Used a few Amazfit over the years. Pace, Stratos 2,3 and unfortunately after after having two GTR 4's ,( first returned for quick battery drop..lasted 36 hrs and terrible GPS , approx 200 meters short per Km) second better with battery with similar settings to which you suggest but same GPS issues. I'm a strong runner and unfortunately GTR 4 is not for me if after my 16k run its giving me 14.8. pity. Beautiful watch and with good GPS would be winner.
Thanks for the help I just did the settings I was getting 7 days out of the watch I hope I can get a little more out of it by the way I don’t use it when I sleep
Well yeah, turning off the "turn to wake" feature should increase battery life, the problem I see is that, unless you wake up the watch using the crown, the ambient light sensor won't work. Meaning that, if the last time you saw your watch was in a low light ambience, then the AOD will be dim till the next time you wake up the watch, sometimes resulting in an AOD impossible to see, hopefully this makes sense.
it makes sense...I just set my watch to 3/4 bright all the time and thats perfect for me...the always on display (only time) is very low juice event at 3/4 bright. I get about 6 days always no matter what.
Thanks for great review and so much advice ! 🏆 I know that I probably boring you, but I have not anybody to ask - just one question (maybe I miss this information) - when I receive notification on Whats up, (I know that I cant to reply), but, can I hear the voice msg via speaker that msg ? Only that. Please answer, I have 58 years and my son dont live in my country and because is very important to me this feature. Thanks a lot, best regards for you and al best wishes 🎉🏆🍷
About always on display, my two cents is: choose one that doesn't display "seconds". It drains a lot of battery, because it refreshes the display every... ... second. duhhh
So the Amazfit band did it automatically. With the watch I have only used the watch gps although I would have to think the iPhone could do it. Try turning GPS off in the watch app and start a walk from the app on the phone and see what it says.
@@doradorods2808 no idea, I always use watch GPS for my walks. I tried on the phone but it never linked up so - no clue. I’ll play with it and try to figure it out.
i want to say strange thing happened to me. I charged my watch (amazfit gtr 4) from the previous Sunday 30/04/2023, and yesterday it was my watch. I removed it. The battery was 40%. I woke up today. I was surprised that the charge was finished. Knowing that when I took it off yesterday, I had turned off the bluetooth, and activated the theater mode. is this normal، Note today is the fourth time charge it From the time she bought it the previous month
Maybe Try Restarting the watch. Then make sure you have minimal settings activated. If you leave the O2 (oxygen) sensor on all the time it will kill the battery.
Thanks for detail video, and so much information ! Please, just tell me, where, in which optioo, or how can I switch off / disable GPS function because I don't need it at all. THANKS A LOT 👍💯👍

I don’t know - I am only able to talk via Bluetooth on regular calls -as far as I know - and you aren’t boring me :-)

fair enough, point being the refresh...
How you got GPS works on watch from your iPhone, I got tired searching , even if Google maps is there on Zepp app .

@@techwaketv yes bro , am asking about the watch , @ the video the Walking GPS tracking works for you , how is that ? Not asking about maps
