Actually, that would make perfect sense to have a 8-bit/16-bit styled game with this soundtrack. Calling it A Lifetime of War. Traveling various battlefields all over the world, finding out historical facts, character customization, as well as playing as different historical figures, such as Lauri Torni, King Carolus, Siimo Hayha, Audie Murphy and many others.
Even in 8 bit this song still brings tears to my eyes... För kriget det kan Förgöra en man Jag ger mitt liv För mitt fosterland Men vem saknar mig Så se mig som den en make en vän Fader och son som aldrig kommer hem Men vem sörjer mig
@@maxabc1977 Swedish lyrics are deeper, and more profound, but I unfortunately can't understand (or more importantly, accurately sing) them without piscator's videos Xd
@@firstconsul7286 For war, it can Destroy a man I give my life For my fatherland But who misses me? So see me as that A husband, a friend Father and son Who’ll never come home But who mourns me?
@@firstconsul7286 : I dunno. I'd say that the Swedish lyrics are just their own thing, not "deeper" or more "profound". It's a "war is hell" theme that doesn't really have any "bite" to it. Not saying that makes it worse in any way, just different. The English lyrics are from a less personal perspective, and single out the cynical motivations of the leaders of all sides of the war, who were struggling for political dominance in Europe. It's not just "war is hell" but "war is hell, and specific people made this hell".
Sounds like an end credits theme
Exactly
@Moomoo 770 just saying this song is about the Thirty Years War not the Great Northern War which Carolus Rex was in
@Moomoo 770 this song is about the thirty years war like bruh

now we just need someone with game developing skills that's willing to take this project
