Please stop having raging political debates about which country is the best or worst. Every country has their good and bad side, no place is perfect. But that doesn't mean we can't change that.
A lot of us tell ourselves that we are only one person and we can't change anything. That's not true. If everyone as an individual made an effort to change themselves and be a better person by treating others with love, kindness and respect; society will slowly start changing. Stop with the bigotry and try to understand where people are coming from. Make an effort to look at things from a different perspective instead of judging immediately.
If someone is intentionally being a dick, just ignore them. Most of them are just trying to get attention and if they aren't given any they will get bored pretty quickly. If you want to discuss an issue with others keep it friendly and try not to let it descend into a 'shitfest'.

Being born and raised in Germany and moving here due to my father being in the military.. This song hits close to home for me. I'm 25 now and lost my father. After his passing, a surprising light came into my darkest of days. I met the love of my life. We're still together. ♥️ It reminds me of why I'm still here. God knows where I would be now if we hadn't of met during that time. Our love fuels me. Love is beautiful. So powerful. Much love everyone.

well let me tell what happened. As I was watching my daily minecraft videos, Shrek appeared to me, in the form of pewdiepie on my laptop. Shrek then spoke through pewdiepie saying, "I like cock." seeing as I very much agreed with this wisdom of shrek's, shrek then decided to fly through my bedroom window, and said "you're ready to cum aboard the Ogre express." I knew this was no easy task but I knew one thing, I was ready. Shrek unzipped his pants and I saw something I've wanted for a very long time. what he was holding in his hand was pulsating and twitching. Shrek looked at me and nodded with a mighty lust, I knew what to do. I took his large package and proceeded to play with it, like I've never played with anything before. I played with it for two hours before his toy stop gyrating in my hands. oh no I said. he's all outta juice. shrek handed me an attatchment to his toy and before long, the gyrating and pulsating movements came back with even more power, This time lasting twice as long as before. Shrek and myself were exhausted and then shrek said, "It's all ogre now" and flew away. Before I could fathom what had happened, I realized he left his most prized toy. The one I had been playing with, I took the extra battery pack of Shreks toy train set and realized, I will never be able to give Shreks toy train set back, but I knew it was a gift and i knew i needed to listen to some great music. I then played this song and when I was responding to your comment still in awe of the kindness Shrek had shown me, I accidentally pushed the letter H instead of G.

That is worth a song right there. Although it can still be depressing and lonely at times (society here can be a little too comfortable with social media). The chorus alone shows that the song is not in support of America. I don't understand why people commented that they disliked the song just because the title is America. Not only is that the epitome of judging a book (song) by it's cover, but lets not forget that America is a CONTINENT, not a country. Additionally, while the U.S. (the country that this song is likely referring to) may not be the greatest country in the world, the song is all about not caring about the opinions of others (including the ones located in the youtube comment section). Why don't we all just appreciate the music for it's lyrics and rhythm and not have petty nationalistic fights?

Listen more carefully to the lyrics and the tone of the song. What she means by saying" America" is very ambiguous. The song can replace the word "America" with, literally, anything and the.song would still not change its meaning. Thus, giving more reason to believe" America" was just a word representing a bigger picture. Not literally America. There is actually a correct literary term for this, but I forgot it.
Anyways, America isn't all that bad. Sheesh.
