I used to listen to this song a lot. I’d play it and just jam to the etherial funk it put me in as I imagined flying through deep space in an interstellar adventure(a much sought-after dream of mine). I used to listen to this song a lot. I’d play it and just jam to the etherial funk it put me in as I imagined flying through deep space in an interstellar adventure(a much sought-after dream of mine).
Then I got a bunch of money and I proceeded to blow it all on drugs and to pursue a new goal which wasn’t mine.
I don’t know how I fell away from who I was back then. I’m really good at maths and I dreamt I could become something more than what I was. Something more than human. What human is right now, anyways. I just wanted to be better than what I was.
I could go on forever, getting lost in this song. In the past.
But I have a new goal now. It’s still not mine. Not who I am. But that’s life. At the end of the day to the end of time: We’re all trapped in a life not our own. We’re a part of nature and we can never escape that system. You can’t fight nature...
