Glad it was helpful! Have you had a chance to see our other Takeuchi videos? Here's the playlist: ua-cam.com/play/PLJy7cj0ut2cAgFqwD4kcGKneZTb8z7697.html
I would guess most construction equipment would include fail safes to ensure their proper operation. But it never hurts to call and make sure. I've never seen water pour out of a tree like that....wow! The bees water storage?? Stay safe out there! Thanks for sharing Chad! 😎
That's the first time I've ever seen a tree that had water in it like that also. It's been quite the summer for bees! Jennifer and I have both been stung a few times this year. I'm actually considering a bee video! (or at least lots of "bee-roll". :))
I have a 2022 Kubota KX040 that I bought new in May 2023. I added the Kubota Telematics for an additional cost. The Telematics has an app that allows for battery status, fuel status, hydraulic temp and coolant temp monitoring. It will send a notification if those fall out of allowed parameters. It also provides the machines location, operation geo fencing and inhibit restart(electronic kill switch). Last but certainly not least it has maintenance tracking and advisory along with links to resources. I use a Battery Tender in the cold months here in mid-Michigan. My machine sits outside because whoever built the 30x40 barn here thought an 8ft door and 8.5 ceiling was good enough. LOL One comment mentioned a solar charger for your battery, I use one of those on my dump trailer as it doesn’t get used nearly enough. It has a built-in 120v charger but is not close enough to an outlet.
Thanks for the information about the telematics. I believe that's almost exactly the same things I could get from Takeuchi on the app for a monthly subscription. I have considered it - but I'd have to use the machine more to justify the cost. Except for when I'm in the middle of projects, I have been storing the mini-ex in the 40x60 pole building. When it's in there, it's easy to connect to the battery maintainer. I've had it outside for a few weeks now because I'm working on a few different projects, AND it's a pain to move out of the doorway of the building all the time to get the camper and boat in and out in the summer. I might think about one of those solar chargers though - that would be a good idea. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment!
You've probably already thought about this, but you might be able to use a small solar panel to power the trickle charger so you wouldn't need to be plugged in when it's not convenient.
Good Day Sir,😇👍🚧🚧 OUTSTANDING INFORMATIVE VIDEO 👍🧐👌🚧🚧 That is not good to see that bad water inside that tree 🥴🤔 Ho boy, that is a big step for you having your daughter leaving home, Sir I'm telling you that you will survive it 😇👍🤣 What A/C inside that Cab 🤣👍 Keep Up Your OUTSTANDING informative videos and try to stay away from potatoes peeling duty Sir 🤣👍Cheers 🍻🍻
Thanks! Is it as simple as disconnecting the power leads to it? I wonder if that then sends a message to Takeuchi and they reach out to the owner in case it's stolen?
@@PurpleCollarLife on mine there was a fusable link wire near fuse box and the tracker was in the small compartment near operators right foot. I ended up buying airtags for all my equipment tracking.
Good info on the machine, I have a similar Tak. Thumb does the same thing.
Cool, thanks. That's good to know. I'm super impressed with the Takeuchi. I've had a chance to see some other machines and I'm glad I have the Tak.
thank you for the info, absolutely valueble, I am considering this mashine/brand for my business/rental and this really helps.

I've actually been thinking about this. The roof gets plenty of direct sunlight most of the time. I've been considering this: amzn.to/4dqKbfi

Wasn't that tree full of water the strangest thing?!! I've never had one do that before. Thanks for watching, Dave.
The price of an enclosed cab will be quickly forgotten when you run across a wad of yellow jackets, guinea wasps, or hornets.
At least twice this summer, I've dug into a nest of bees - and the cab was worth every penny. :)
Mine came with a tracker as well, killed the battery within a few days, ripped that tracker out, all is good now.
