Im always kinda confused by this, youtube is totally random with it. How does patreon work tho? Like some people only do their reaction with a timer and people have to get their own copy and sync it up, then there's other people who just upload the whole movie with their reaction, like wtf. I don't get it :D

@@YTHeroes ya UA-cam is hit or miss, i have vids that get claimed way later all the time. Patreon doesn’t have a copyright system with their video upload system so you can technically upload whatever but you only have so much storage on patreon or other video hosting services and they get pricey fast. I prefer to host my videos on UA-cam cos it’s free but can’t have copyright issues so I have to use the blurred image and timer. Also i don’t wanna get legal issues later on for posting full movies just in case lol
I think when the core memories are both yellow AND blue it's that nostalgia thing you were talking about. the bittersweet sad-happy looking back on things.

This is probably my favorite pixar movie. Just so creative and hits so hard emotionally. The second one is also good.
I was surprised it took so many years for the sequel given success of the original. Sequel tried but wasn't the same
My heart broke for 9 year old Matty 💔 but think of it this way. If you never moved, your life trajectory might’ve been different & we might would’ve never had this amazing channel.
Inside Out is amazing, the voice actors who are playing the emotions are awesome.
Joy “doing the most” is literally Toxic Positivity, which doesn’t do anyone any good. That’s why Sadness is so important and I feel really disappointed when reactors immediately hate on her. She’s as important if not more than Joy depending on the situation. It’s healthy and normal to feel sad when something bad or life changing happens.
TBF the writers of the movie do seem to try to bamboozle us into hating on Sadness at first until illustrating how important she is.
I agree, but I do have to take into account that it was kind of the writer's purposes. For me a child who had already unfortunately been through a lot by then(bullying, trauma, not okay things, moving every 6 months to 2 years to different states)I did feel upset at people mad at sadness because I had gone through so much and was depressed, and annoyed that people kept telling me "why don't you just be happy", Yes thank you everything's cured why didn't I think of that. So, I think for me it was easier to see all of the parts working and notice the toxic positivity, but I was a messed up child who grew up faster than they should have lol. Like the perspective, my little brother who hadn't gone through everything I had watched the movie how most reactors do hating on sadness until he realizes lol

I don't know if anyone mentioned it but sadness wasn't touching the orbs on her own. Riley was sad so it made sadness act up, but sister Happy was trying to keep Riley happy so she didn't see it was Riley making sadness act and not sadness acting on her own.

I have only ever seen one person who immediately figured out Sadness was touching the memories because Riley was sad moving away and those memories weren't happy anymore xD and he looked high in the video lol
As someone who is very emotional and sensitive I greatly appreciated this film. I really want to watch the 2nd one but I am waitiing for it to be streaming because I hate movie theaters.

It wasn't Sadness that was on overkill it was Joy. She was the personification of toxic positivity. Forced happiness when she was perfectly entitled and needed to feel sad about all the forced changes in her life that she had no real control over but Joy suppressed all that for too long until it just blew out of control.
Speaking of imaginary friends I had an imaginary friend named George. I have no memory of George but my aunt told me about him when I was about 10 and even by then I had no memory of him. I can only hope he went out in a blaze of glory like Bing Bong did.

I loved that you realized sadness' purpose immediately. I know being sad sucks but it's a necessary emotion, can't be joyful all of the time.
THANK YOU for understanding sadness right away. This movie makes me feel sad because I don't think I feel the same joy I felt in my childhood. Like some sort of wonder and glee is just lost forever. And the scene of Riley admiring she was trying to be happy and repressing her emotions also makes me cry.
