Bob Fuchs is Mr. Orchids. He introduced me to orchid growing back in the 70's. What a wonderful place to visit; best landscaping of any orchid nursery. Bob named a Vanda after my Mom. They worked together when Bob was still teaching.

OMG. This is orchid heaven. Love the terra-cotta pots with the holes. I would have picked up a few. Hard to find here. My first orchid was a phal so yes I still like them but vandas are my top choice. Thank you for taking us along. 👍 say hi to Laz.
That’s right Nelson!!! Phals started my passion too. I hate when people say” it’s JUST a Phalaenopsis “. Perfect shopping trip. Two of my favourite things together. 🌸😻♥️

Laz, Nelson and Teresa did not disappoint when they took our group to R.F. Orchids. I had a beautiful experience there walking throughout the nursery area. Michael was delightful and very forthcoming about types of medium to pot my purchases. The staff is so accommodating I will definitely make other trips to Homestead from WPB. Safe to say I was a bit concerned about the placement of plants I purchased however my clever husband assured me that he will be building other areas for my orchid passion. We have a lovely screened patio as well as a large backyard which opens onto a golf course so there is ample space to erect a pergola.
It was wonderful meeting you in person and shopping together. You have been very supportive of my channel and always leaving positive comments. I appreciate you very much and it was a joy orchid shopping with you. So happy to hear your hubbie is building a better environment for your green babies. He sounds like a gem. Next time bring him along! Pergolas are great for orchids. Specially if you screen the top part. Hope to see you soon at another outing. 💚

That’s the best part! Arranging and crating new spots. I just finished doing 12 of the wood slabs I received from the Orchid Store. I had to rearrange my grid wall. Video coming up soon! 🤩

Dizzying!! I was lost!! Have you ever heard of the "Epidendrum Latilabre"? It is a ground Epidendrum which sends out teeny-tiny green and white blooms (6 on a bunch). Apparently it grows wild on my island (but rare) - but have never seen it mentioned or shown anywhere else. I have three in pots, and one mounted on mango tree bark. They are all ready to burst in bloom. Waiting for Episode 3.
What can I say. As usual you always wow me with your videos. I love the visit to rf nursery. I love the way they display their plants. Always a pleasure following your vlogs.
