Chibi's Berdly and Queen's voice is so good. It's really nice how into undertale and deltarune she gets. Thank god she never found it in 2015, we would never have been ready for a 2015 ut fan Chibi.
I must admit: as much as I love watching Chibi play through these games, the fact that she puts literally zero effort in even attempting to learn about the town and the people that live in it makes me worried she’ll end up missing context for future chapters, but also I’m sure Toby being the great writer he is will make sure any characters important to any given chapter are properly introduced in said chapter.
People enjoy games in their own way, and she did seem to enjoy it, but yeah, it's odd that she purposely skips content, ignores characters, refuses to explore, and after all that call the story "intentionally one-dimensional". I guess I just don't see what she gets out of the experience.
something the chat failed to say to chibi deltarune was Toby Fox's original game idea before undertale, but he didnt know how to do it at the time, at least not to the extent he wanted it to be made (its his true passion project), so he wrote and created undertale first
Its not about not knowing how to do it. It’s just common sense that ppl make their dream game not the 1st game they’ve made. A lot of what UT was is already in this game, so he knew how he wanted it done. He just needed experience.
"I'm not too intrigued with Spamton" _Quietly facepalms as she off-handedly discards one of the most important and well-written characters of the game_
Just as a little detail, the reason why your choices dont matter when watching susie with noelle in the ferris wheel is because you dont control her, the choices are you, as the soul or player deciding what the vessel will do, and that vessel is kris, not susie
@@leah_loves_ladies she literally did the geno run of Undertale. And admitted she doesn’t care about the side characters of this game and has skipped dialogue frequently. Your opinion on the route also doesn’t matter either, people can do it if they want to. Nobody is forcing you to do it. This sort of behavior reminds me of early Undertale fans, freaking out about ppl making their own choices. Just cus you dislike something doesn’t mean everyone does. It’s an interesting route w/ some fantastic psychological horror and a great end boss.
@BelBelle468 that's an awful lot of pushback on me saying no-one should want the experience of torturing and violating a little girl, simulated or otherwise. But if you do like that kind of thing, you do you I guess.
I know this won’t mean much here, but I think I just realized that the movie asgore talks to sans about will probably be a big plot point in the next chapter, seeing as it’s set in tv world. That also makes me think that the story of the next chapter will be focused around Toriel’s relationship with asgore and what happened between them, seeing as it will likely also be heavily tied to asriel and whatever happened to dess.
Does that mean toriel will be in the dark world in next chapter ? thats why he slashed the tires he wanted her to be home when he makes the foutain right ?
2:31:55 Chibi's comment here rubs me the wrong way. People have different life situations, and the message wasn't that crazy of a thought. Just really overblown and kinda toxic imo.
4:23:26 So it’s actually very likely kris isn’t the knight, since the cyber world was only created after Noelle and Berdley were already in the computer room. That means the knight was hiding in the room while Noelle and Berdley were in there, created the dark fountain, and left before Kris and Susie got there. In any case, it wouldn’t have been possible for Kris to create that dark fountain based on the order of events.
Ok so I know chibi could not care less but it honestly broke my heart that she was annoyed at Spamton's story. It's the only part of the game that actually made me feel. And not just joy and happiness like the queen, like something real. But hey, maybe that's just cause I'm not some rich Vtuber who has the freedom to choose how their life goes.
Idk, that whole bit was just a run breaker for me. I hate it when streamers say stuff like "if you wanna see it so bad go watch a walkthrough", cause we cane to YOU. We don't want to watch a walkthrough, we chose to watch YOU, out of anyone else on the internet, cause we're invested in what you think and have to say. When people say things like that I realize they're streaming more for themselves in that moment than anything, and while I hate to leave, I'm just like "I guess I will just watch someone else play it." Parasocial relationships are dumb and streamers deserve the right to be their own people regardless of their audience, but livestreaming is still a job, and that job is to make people happy. If you're getting frustrated at a game, usually that means it's time to rest, not take it out on your chat. EDIT: I say this as a Livestreamer of 5 years, not just a chatter and viewer.
I mean tbf it's nothing that good or groundbreaking. I don't find the concepts of Spamton or Jevil all that interesting, as they're both stories that's been done over a million times. Spamton's especially. This reminds me of what people were doing in Jacksepticeye's let's play of Deltarune and Markiplier's let's play of Undertale. Mark said it himself he felt like he was robbed the experience of the game and it kind of ruined it for him because people keep spoiling things and saying it has to be done a certain way. Honestly, I'm all for streamers and youtubers to skip large parts of games if they aren't interested in it. Let them do what they want. If you really do want to see everything but for whatever reason don't want to play the game yourself then go to another person, there are people who will go full force with any game after all and explore everything because that's just the kind of person they are. Like in this instance here, I get you came for Chibi and you wanted to see her reaction to Spamton's fight and character, and she did deliver. She didn't really care for it. That's her response. I'm pretty new to chibi so don't take this as someone who's being a "stan" or whatever the new slang term is for the hyper-defensive part of a fanbase.
@@naisagathefirstdestronmand8559 I understand your point of view on this point but I personally always find the shutting down of dialogue in response to art to be a bit frustrating. I understand that these things are not new to you or seem trivial, and they most likely did to chibi too, and overall I'm sure she didn't dislike the time she spent playing the game. I just personally feel like toby fox put something more into his characters and story than just tropes, as I've seen enough evidence from him in undertale and deltarune to know he's trying to say something with his games, especially about a player's relationship to a game. My main gripe with this specific playthrough was that I felt like the art was disrespected, and I feel like if the art medium was more traditional and not a game it probably wouldn't have been disrespected. Ultimately though, this is all my opinion, but it's also the perspective I currently hold and both perspectives hold value. I don't think chibi meant to disrespect anyone or anything for example, I just feel like the situation developed in just the right way to ruin her experience of that aspect of the story, which is understandable as it does happen. Overall it's been a while and I was frustrated when I originally watched it but I've cooled down now so I don't think it matters as much. I'm sorry that the original comment is still emotionally driven though.
2:31:52 why does she take this chatters message so wrong? don't she know that in some states it is actually illegal for parents with children past certain age to have them sharing rooms if they are the opposite sex? xD
Person asks "Bacon with no video games or video games with no video games". Instead of using your brain and understanding that the question is suppose to be "bacon with no video games or video games with no bacon", she answered the question the way it was written which is incredibly frustrating for someone who donates and intends to get an actual answer and is punished for their smooth brain temporary moment, aka brain fart. She DOESN'T care about Noelle? So what was it all for? Was everything she said about caring about Noelle a lie? Huh, it just occurred to me that one of the many things Kris might be doing when they temporarily leave their soul has something to do with the creation of the fountains. It's probably just speculation
Hi, sorry for replying to this month-old comment, but I just wanted to let you know: The incorrectly phrased "bacon or videogames" question is actually a Machinima reference. Back in the day, someone sent that question to their "machinima inbox" show, and the two hosts (mr. Sark and APL, bless their souls) made a whole bit about it, as they found it funny. In recent years, the joke was brought back into popularity by another youtuber, JSchlatt (whom I personally am not too familiar with, but I keep seeing people make this reference in regards to him). So, the person who asked the question was most likely not expecting a serious answer. That is all, have a nice day!
@@milennia_kunt Yeah, I don't remember the part in the video in detail, but your response does clarify a couple things. Still, being terminally online in of age and not knowing the reference is proof enough that it's too specific to be blindly throwing around the joke.
