We have Gary Indiana, located in the arm pit of Lake Michigan. It’s a surreal post-industrial hell scape offset by beautiful beaches, sand dunes, and yes, waves.
Hello! - wow, You are in the cold! I use ion curved gloves but cut the wrists back, and the palms out, but think this is ok for me, not warm enough for you! I was told to weight train with my gloves to stope forearm cramp! 🤷♂️
@@ktwo-surf I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s warmer here when I woke up at 7 AM it was 42°F and expecting 47°F Fahrenheit for a high today with plenty of wind but not the kind of waves you get. 5.5 to 8.3 Celsius.
I’m surprised it’s that warm! If the conditions are good I will do 4 degrees, but less than that I struggle.. If you ride colder than that then you are a hero!
Free wing pro 5/4/3m. The things are indestructible, and have huge power and massive stability (very big range) I like taking the smallest wing I can and like the fact that you can get pummelled in the waves and never worry about breaking the wing.
An great review of my local spot, cheers Mike see you next year

What an amazing foil wave !!! Thanks for sharing - Will - SUPboarder

@@ktwo-surf all winter wingers in cold climates are. Gloves are the key piece of gear. Your spot looks superb!
Nice swell riding footage. Can I ask which (transparent) wing you're using here?

Do you prefer the pro over the nitro?
