As a pilot who is in flight training now. I appreciate Q&A’s like this every once in a while. Maybe bringing on a guest every once in a while would be nice too. I appreciate the openness and thoughtfulness you take towards your videos on social media. It really reminds viewers like myself that there is a real person on the other side of the camera. Thanks again.
dude. your accomplishments are your own. you had help from friends and family but its you that did the work, put in the effort and time to make it happen.
Hey Garrett! I have been following your page for a little while and I must say that I use it as motivation to achieve my goals of becoming a professional airline pilot. I just wrapped up my commercial training and am getting ready to start building those hours (instructing) to get to one of the regionals I currently have CJOs with. Having the chance to get an inside view and idea from you is awesome and seeing the things that can be accomplished keeps me super hungry to be my best and cruise through those hours. I think what you're doing it awesome and I think these "Debrief" videos are a cool change of pace! You inspire a ton of folks and I encourage you to keep at it! Stay safe brother!
Been watching your channel since I started my aviation journey. Every time I hit a road block or get discouraged your content makes me excited and reignites the flame I felt when I first started. Thank you for the wonderful content, hope to see you in the skies one day!
I admire all of your efforts to do your videos. It is interesting to see your progress and successes. Develop a thick skin, and don't let the naysayers get you down. It is fun to see you maturing into a young man. Overcoming the doubts and trying to "find" yourself. It is all part of life. And I enjoy seeing Bella. She is special and a joy ~!! Grant in Phoenix
Very much appreciate the intro, but , do what you enjoy, you can’t always make everyone happy, this is your channel, make the videos you enjoy and make you happy . I enjoy your videos and would not ask you to change anything
🎉I will always love you Garret... I wanna have it hahah If I get wealthy again... Crazy thing to think... For people who love to sweat out, yeah! Not bad....Atlas it is... I just feel sad but it is good to see you there...
I completely agree with your take on Part 141 University training. Having a clearcut path to follow, classes tailored to your interests, would have done wonders for me in college. That said, if I had a kid I’d probably encourage them to find a practical backup plan/major and maybe minor in aviation; get the PPL as an elective, finish ratings outside of school.
hey Garrett thanks for the video, very informative and helpful. Only small suggestion is maybe you can list the questions in the video as small chapters so viewers can maybe jump to the question they want. Been watching your videos for a while, thanks for them & keep up the great stuff!
I would love to see how atlas is made so we know what you really put into, maybe how the packeging works, the perks, downfalls, and your journey on how you got here after 2 years of working on it!
love this style of content! i would love more motivation for pushing through training. in the middle of instrument right now at a 141 and the airlines feel sooooo far away🙃
Hey Garrett, love your content. I actually just graduated with my bachelors in business and I’m about to start my flight training at blue line. What would you recommend for someone like me who currently lives with a dog and is trying to figure out that balance?
I really admire you Captain Garrett your effort doing videos to give us more information about Aviation inspite of being busy with your work you still time to communicate with your followers here just only one advice Captain Garrett always stay foot on the ground and be humble everyday I always included you on my prayers 🙏❤️ and I saw Bella 🐕 behind your back is she sleeping kindly hug Bella 🐕 for me air hug 🫂.. hoping for nxt video bonding with Bella 🐕.🐕
Your just 31 but you are matured enough and have that pilot career etc.I’m sure you will be successful in life when you’re in 50. And a lucky wife. Bella is the Luckiest one. ❤ I’m looking forward on the future of yours. I’m 34. As long as I have my phone I can still watch you here on UA-cam
😊❤❤captain pilotGarrettin, I love his videos, I love him, I love his beautiful hair, I love his beautiful eyes, he is strong, he is ambitious, he is very sweet, he speaks English, but I am a Turk and I do not know English.
I don’t have Instagram, but I do have a question that could be relevant to others. I’m a single dad, transitioning out of the Air Force to a Major soon (God willing). Do you know any single mother or father pilots? What would be the biggest hurdles to being a single parent at a Major? I know you’re not a dad (except Bella), but I’d still be interested in hearing your take. Thanks, Tom
I’m 18 years old. I’m going to major in aviation at Jacksonville university in Florida. It’s gonna cost a lot of money. After a 136,000 $ scholarship I’m still gonna need about 150k in loans. Is it worth it. (I’m trying to go to the majors)
Hey Garrett, I was wondering how likely is it that A.I will takeover the occupation of commercial pilot? I am concerned that I might start a career that ultimately leads to a dead end.
As someone working on ratings at 39 years old, lemme just reassure you no job is “safe”. You can fail at something you didn’t want to do in the first place. Since Covid, I watched my friends who stuck with aviation make leaps that we never thought were possible when we were staring down the aviation industry in the early 00’s. If you are going to fly for more than a paycheck, it’s always going to be better than any other career. That said, AI will never take over all of aviation. There will always be pay for pilots somewhere.
@@a350Delta This is what Airbus company has said. Airbus company stated that "pilots will remain at the heart of operations." Airbus company said: "For autonomous technologies to improve flight operations and overall aircraft performance, pilots will remain at the heart of operations." "Autonomous technologies are paramount to supporting pilots, enabling them to focus less on aircraft operation and more on strategic decision-making and mission management." As you can notice the purpose of these technologies is to improve flight operations and support pilots in their work.
You seem a bit lost and unhappy In life. Maybe you should start a family before you get to old. I think that’s what will make you personally the most happy and fulfilled.
my left ear loved this video

Do you have allergies or sinus issues ...... does flying make it worse?

Thanks for the reply, I can assure you that I don't just want it for the money. However, do you believe that fully automated planes will exist?
