I love the smoker as much as anyone but he was definitely having to ride that thing a lot harder than all the guys around him! Takes a lot to go fast but it’s so fun

We need more of these smokies. When I went to my local track it was Elsinores Huskies, and Bultacos. $2,500 would get you a good bike. My buddy rode a Montessa. He died a few years ago. The calendar gets us all. Thanks for jogging my memory.

Thanks for this coverage and I'm glad to learn that Carson is as nice of a guy as he seems (as well as his dad). Sorry it's been such a tough go for you lately. People getting bent out of shape over the 2-stroke vs 4-stroke issue seem to be missing the big picture. Just keep on doing what you do and having fun while you're at it. I hope that the money I sent helps in some small way be it food, gas, whatever. The important thing is that you are enjoying your young life. It doesn't feel all that long ago that I was riding dirt bikes but in reality it's been decades. Time flies, so enjoy the time that you have as best you can, especially while you're young. You won me over on the Weege show video a few weeks back where you put little Weege up on your bike and made sure that he got the chance to rev that thing. Keep the faith!

I'd love to see what kind of a lap time Deegan would have been able to run on a 2 stroke. It seems like his riding style would mesh well with it.
Would definitely be super fun to watch but I think he would be better on his 250f they have that thing beyond dialed in. They could make a 2 stroke crazy good just wouldn’t be as good right off the bat with no testing or anything

I’ve never really heard Carson talk much or knew much about him until I watched him on gypsy I think it was the other day and he seems like one of the most nice and down to earth motocross guys, or person in general, ever. He crushed it out there yesterday !

I think there was over $30,000 up for grabs,but Carson wasn't on a KTM,Husky or Gas Gas.I'm hearing that Jett Lawrence donut company put up $5,000.I couldn't believe the shadows that were making it difficult to see.
I think Carson made close to 20k, I don’t think anyone got the 5k from ktm because Carson won on a Yamaha. Not a payday I would complain about!

Lol no. It's a PC build. Just sending my top end to PC, and snagging a JS7 head helped mine a ton. Whatchu got? PC made a huge difference.
Leaded fuels are banned in Pro racing. Likely C12. But they did figure out something with that R.V spec plenty of people are curious especially the different pipe and silencer combo, unfortunately the latter is not for sale that Carson used, Mitch did not believe that the public would like it, as it gives more snap and maybe less of something else with that Roczen silencer he used at the redbull straight rythm.
Not sure if they used the R.V pipe upfront for Carson bike or if they used something else, but what is funny is that the changes made to the R.V pipe is miniscule, smaller than you would believe it is, however that R.V spec pipe is available. The PC works pipe is basically what Reed used in their last days of the two strokes, they implemented their race knowledge into the production line many years later and they worked from there to find something different and tada the RV spec unfolded. Unfortunately you wont get the golden welds and your intial stamps (bummer) ;).
In the end Mitch and the PC crew knows their two strokes.

You're needin' that new STIC Super X carb. It's much more potent than the meter block that Lesher is running. I've been to the track a few times with it and when I put an 80 pilot with a 200 main(Keihin). FYI, these are huge jets compared to stawk. It's like it has a supercharger feeding a big turbocharger. No Choice, I installed a G2 throttle tamer(#400 mud) cam. It keeps the front end down and controlled when hitting jump faces out of turns.
I'll be receiving a more aggressive internal metering block, soon. The inventor wants to see if I can make a ridable tune for it! This thing was deemed 'un-ridable' by a previous tester. I hope the missing piece will be the throttle tamer and/or needle selection.
Interesting, I run some pretty fat jets myself in the stock carb
The new X carb makes it impossible to go lean, bc the huge pilot jet reverses and pulls vapor collecting in the carb intake bell. It is feeds right above the main jet. This happens smoothly when leaving the high idle internal velocity of the mains needle jet tube. It's genius. Best of luck going forward

But he wasn't in condition for 2- 35 min. Moto's, so let's be fair.
He was in condition for them, not sure what you’re talking about. He does this race every year bc it’s his home track and he is always riding and staying in good shape. He may not be in elite condition like if he was going full time, but he was still just fine to run two 35s

It would be supper cool if they let 250 2 strokes run in the 250f class now that the 250f are so much better then they where when the big shift happen from 2 stroke to 4 stroke and then if the manufacturers came up with a 350 or 400 2 stroke that could run in the 450f class. I really wonder if any of the top guys in the 250 class would switch to a 2.stroke.. a stock 250 2 stroke is around 46 horse and a stoke 250f is around 42 but the factory 250fs are pushing 50 or more so if would definitely be fair to run a 250 2 stroke in the 250 class as far as horse power goes!!

Never understand why they won't allow that 250 2 stroke in with the 250 4 stroke. Rule book has always stated for ccs . Now they change it , Carson would've been in the top 5 if he was in the lites class

125 2stroke can race the 250 4stroke and 250 2 stroke can race the 450 4stroke ... Unless there have been some major rule changes since I've been out of the loop of racing....I have raced my 250 2stroke against 450 4strokes in many races

Around 10 seconds a lap if I recall.
Hard to compare because of how much different the track shapes up throughout the day but he was the fastest 2 stroke which is what matters!

The bikes only been a problem at 3 of the 5 but yea it has really sucked; I’ve never in my life had issues like this with Yamahas it’s just been bad luck. Tried a ktm last year and really didn’t like it

It’s more of him just liking the 2 stroke and so that’s what he races. If he was on a 4 stroke he wouldn’t get as much recognition as he does now out there on the 2smoke and wouldn’t have gotten this following like he has.
And if he didn’t really care about qualifying he wouldn’t be traveling across the country to race.
I mean I drove across the country to Washington and didn’t qualify, I’m just being real that sucks. Maybe you’re new here but I’ve qualified on my 2 stroke plenty of times when I’m not having all these issues. If I was just some other guy on a 450 I bet you wouldn’t be watching my channel!
