Thank heavenly father for Elder Holland l was lay up to due to accident l challenge myself to read the book of Mormon cover to cover l read this work many times. So sad here in Philippines it breaks my heart so few bring standard works to church so few have books or try make a effort to read

There's a great book by an LDS author that shows that there is perfect harmony between the prophetic statements concerning the garden of Eden being in Missouri and the Old Testament account concerning the garden of Eden. It's called Canaan, Babylon, and Egypt A Comparative Theological Analysis on Creation sold by Eborn Books.
People said the book of mormon was false because there was no concrete, steal swords, or horses found in ancient America. All have been found since. The case only grows stronger with time. Has the bible not told us that we should not lean on the wisdom of men, but instead open our heart to the spirit of the Lord, which testifies of eternal truth? Those who have eyes to see and ears to hear will come to a knowledge of truth. Someday, too, you will see how much your Father in Heaven loves you.
I am very careful about opening my heart to a religion that bases it religion on a Book that has no proof, or validity, I think I will stick to the bible, it is proven. @@logantronsen
What makes you think we haven't? There's lots of supporting archaeology if you sincerely seek to know the truth from positive sources. Even a casual Google search will bring up a few interesting documentaries.... but then belief in Jesus Christ has always been a matter of faith. Do you have enough sincere desire to do something about it if and when you do find out our doctrines are true?
The Smithsonian institute has never validated the Book of Mormon and I would like to see the artifacts and speak to the archeologists and historians that have validated the Book of Mormon.
I was a mormon for 16 years untill for the pure Grace of God I started listening on the radio on my way to work, which was a long commute here in the San Francisco bay area to a real Bible preaching pastor and realized I was stocked in a cult, a man made up story doctrine, and I listen to this pastor for about one year and I was reading the Bible and after about one and a half year I was a Christian a real Christian, now I rejoice in the truth the God of the Bible is not a created god the Jesus of the Bible is not a created being He is not the spirit brother of lucifer. The mormon doctrine is a false doctrine just as islam is a false doctrine just check the similarities KNOW THE TRUTH AND THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE

What caused me to believe that the book of Mormon is true, it is the genuine faith and unwavering commitment to it by memebers of LDS church.
