    You could put them back to back and add a little gold string to make ornaments. Easter tree or Christmas tree would be great. Or a tag on a gift.

    Hi Penny and Debbie, love these paper pebbles, the flower on the original is Nigella [love in the mist]. The foil is for making stained glass windows and is easy to use and mold, and gives a weight to the piece. Copper or alimunium foiling is fun too! The crinkle edge one {Debbie?] would be adorable as a postage stamp. Sand to remove any wax paper hangover. When would you punch a hole - at the beginning or at the very end? Would it work with a cold laminator? So many ideas, so little time - this will be my hour of joy tomorrow. It's midnight here in NZ - love and prayers Helen 🙃[retired florist]

    Wow what a new idea! Thanks for sharing. Question the dark edges do they just dry that way or did you ink them. I’m wondering if you use permanent ink and put it in certain places you could get a lot of dimension on a flat surface just like when we ink our pages. It would have to be permanent ink or that mod podge would make streaks. You could try inking after or even using distress inks after the process is done and dry and play with water drops . I don’t know just throwing out ideas.

      @PrintnPixelStudio  2 дні тому

      @dawnbrosnan7186 Hi Dawn, Great ideas! We just used distress ink around edges before we applied Mod Podge and the wax paper. We think the permanent ink would work better because we felt the distress ink looked a little muddy. We did not ink any of the circles. We are going to list it on YT on Monday 9/23 at

    I’ve found using baby oil gives a lovely finish to the digital prints. I wonder if that is similar to the wax paper? I do t have any of that and I’m not sure what to look at on Amazon

    • @PrintnPixelStudio
      @PrintnPixelStudio  16 годин тому

      @hilltopviewjournals Hi Steph, We tried the oiled paper (which resembles vellum). We Mod-Podged it onto circle, then pressed with iron because it does not want to stick to circle otherwise. It worked, we like the effect, it is transparent but not as vibrant as wax paper method. Check out our video on Monday 9/23 6:00 am EST. We will show this method in the video and mention you as inspiration for this process. The wax paper we use is Reynolds Kitchen Cut-Rite Wax Paper. Hope you can stop by Monday for video. ❤😊 Patti and Debbie

      You can emboss using a wooden rolling pin on a hard, solid surface. But you gotta push with all your might...not just once, but multiple times...and you would need to get the 2 acrylic sheets...Michaels carries them...

    I’m sorry but I watched this twice, and I’m not clear on whether you printed on the wax paper, or printed on paper and then glued the wax paper over the top. I’m new to this, can you please clarify?

    • @PrintnPixelStudio
      @PrintnPixelStudio  3 дні тому +1

      @paulanoctor2434 Hi Paula, We first printed our design on copy paper and then glued the paper to the cardboard backing, then applied ModPodge to the surface of the printed design and then applied a sheet of wax paper. For the circles it is the same process. Then we used a BigShot embossing machine and circle die to cut out shapes. We are going to do another video coming out on Monday 9/23 at 6:00 am EST. We have had so many comments asking about using other materials and how to get the same effect without an embossing machine that we are going to try all of these suggestions and see how they turn out. We hope you will check out this video because there will be some good ideas and tips there. We are so happy for your comment because sometimes it is confusing for new crafters. We forget that sometimes when making videos. We were talking about this yesterday and will be trying to do a better job at explaining processes we use in future videos. • @PrintnPixelStudio
      @PrintnPixelStudio  10 годин тому

      @marli269 Hi Marli, We cut the circles first and then applied the wax paper. We used a 2" paper punch as one cutting method and then we used a 2" circle die in our Big Shot embossing machine. Easiest way and fastest way is to us a 2" circle punch. We have a video coming up on Monday 9/23 at 6:00 am EST. In that video will be going into detail on how to make the circles. @PrintnPixelStudio  День тому

      @valemendez-17g. Hi Val, We ran the pieces through the Sissix Big Shot with plates set up as if we were going to emboss something but left embossing folder out and just ran our layered piece of art through and it presses everything together like a laminator would. (put a piece of plain paper between artwork and acrylic plates so you don't get glue on them) Monday 9/23 at 6:00 am EST we will have a new video listed on our channel that will go into a lot more detail about exactly how we made these pieces. We have had many people ask about using other papers, glues, etc.., so we have been experimenting and will show the results on Monday's video. You would need to put a piece of heavy plastic on top of the design first and use the roller on the plastic. We have had several questions about this and we are researching other methods now. We are going to put up another video next Monday with answers to this question as well as other questions about using napkins, vellum, etc.. How do you clean your brushes so they stay soft?

      @marygough6554 Hi Mary, We are glad you asked that question. We should have mentioned it in video. We keep a glass of water on crafting table and put are brushes in there if we are not going to be using them in a few minutes. The Yes Paste is water soluble so the clean up is really easy. We keep a rag net to water glass so we can squeeze out excess water as needed. It is a little more work than glue stick, glitter glue, etc. but believe you will love this glue. We don't get any financial compensation from Yes Paste manufacturer. We just buy it on Amazon. We used it years ago and just rediscovered recently. We swear by it. Thanks for your question. ❤😊 Patti and Debbie

      @@susancarvey9063 Hi Susan, Thank you for the tip. Yes, sometimes we get so excited about doing a video we forget to mention some of the things we want to talk about. Because we do not edit our videos our mistakes are visible. In the future we will be working with a “cheat sheet” so that we can stay on track. Please join us for our next video on Monday 9/23 that will be uploaded at 6:00 am EST. We will be remaking these using suggestions from our viewers comments about using other materials and processes. It should be fun and we promise to use our “cheat sheet” to stay on track! Patti and Debbie
