Lovely to see you and see all of your WIP's! I wonder if you did a thread a day on the Gentle Arts one if you could make some progress? Or challenge yourself to do one leaf a day? I also think you could finish the seasonal streets one almost as it is (with a bit of unpicking) and make it into something. Gives you the rest of that beautiful fabric to use then! Happy Stitching! xx
Thanks for watching Sally. That’s a great idea for Seasonal Streets. It would make a really cute little Christmas ornament. I’ll get it out and have a look if I can alter the boarder a bit. Thank you x
Nice to see you and all your wips. I also used to be a monogamous stitcher, but that changed when I came back to stitching in summer 2020 and found flosstube. Let's just say my wip count is much higher than yours and I'm not great at keeping up with Sal's either. I've also had some rather small starts. Take care.
I’m with Kirsty on the Seaonal Street and Cardinal points. Not that we’re ganging up on you or anything 😉 Thanks so much for sharing the link to the Barbara Ana Light pattern. I’ve been looking for it for ages.
I am honoured to make it onto your WIP parade! The SAL parts do get smaller, so it shouldn’t be too hard to keep up. I would put the projects you don’t love anymore into a separate UFO pile, so that they aren’t even WIPs anymore. I have one like that, which I actually do still love but won’t be working on it at all until my current BAP is done. I wasn’t looking at the screen when you showed your Mirabilia, so I had to rewind and check. Um, yeah. I would be giggling too.
I have one of those map charts (but mine is Yorkshire!) for years but I haven't had the courage to start it! I've been looking at Penelope's project bags while I've been watching you 😂😂 Crats on reducing your WIP in the last year!
Loved it all so much - those strawberries are so gorgeous!! I'm looking for them right now :) I don't know why the ukelele tale struck a chord as it were - but i was crying laughing - what are we like?!! x
@@stitchyrach6252 Ha ha!! All good!! It’s great seeing your projects- I just can’t have WIPs as it makes my nerves bad!! I think you were saying it was 2022 where you didn’t do much stitching - don’t forget you did those two mammoth projects. Peanuts afghan and the alphabet sampler! They were a heck of a lot of stitching - so I think you can let yourself off for not doing much of anything else!!
I'm secretly pleased to see someone else who feels the same as I do about Cardinal Points!!! I absolutely love it, but stitching it is driving me mad! It's so fiddly and faffy and irritating in that border!!! I'm determined to finish mine before the end of February, just the bottom right corner to go...
Yay! Not just me. Just seen your progress on Instagram. You’re so close. I’ll be cheering you on and I’m going to get mine out in Feb. It won’t be a finish but I’ll be with you in spirit.
Loved seeing all your wips. Did really feel for you with those maynia starts. Hope 2024 is going to be a good stitching year
Oh I hope so too. We do these things (WIPs) to ourselves don’t we. Thank you for sitting through it. It was a marathon.

Please, please gang up on me. I need taking in hand! I think Sally has rescued me from Seasonal Streets! Glad I could be of help with “Light”.

Yes I think I need to make some calls on my unloved WIPs. Glad I have a solution for Seasonal Streets

Thank you. I will say these maps aren’t for the faint hearted. I also have the Yorkshire one which I was going to do next. We’ll see 😬

Glad I made you laugh. The things we do 🤦♀️. If you haven’t found it yet you can buy the strawberries from Hobby Jobby.
@@stitchyrach6252 😊👍
Fab video as always 😊
Ditch the street, for the love of god finish Cardinal points !😂😂
🫣I know, I know. Sally @flossysewsandgrows has bailed me out of Seasonal Streets 🤣
WOW!! That’s all I can say!!! Now going for a lie down in a dark room followed by some counselling!!! 😂😂😂
Are you ok Jenny? Have you left the dark room yet? Hope it wasn’t too traumatic!

Crafting Kirsty is right! There are too many other great WIPs to stitch, to force yourself to stitch on something you don't love.
Kirsty is right, often. I think Sally has come up with a solution for me. Thank you for sitting through it.
