Would you not varnish the silver so the chipping doesn’t take it off as well as the Oliver drab?

Wonder if masking with tape would be possible on paint coat, for example if there is a camouflage instead of a single color... Seems the chipping fluid weakens the adhesion of the paint and it would not survive to tape removing.

Great video. I'd love to see you do two layers, one natural metal and another zinc chromate or something like that.

That was my first thought, what about the primer?

I know a guy who adds colour to a neutral primer to cut down on layering. Requires a lot of sanding, but that's pretty par for the course. So it ends up being primer/metal, then zinc chromate, and then finally the top coat. Looks really good. @@jamesisaak8651

I like the AK weathering products but their paints are too variable in their results. I tried to use the AK real colors in the small bottle with the right thinner in the sky blue container and my paint just seems to never be uniform. Tamiya thins right up in seconds. AK? Not so much in my opinion. I have watched AK’s own tutorials etc and I just can’t get dependable results. Only mention it because the gentleman brought it up
