They started talking and she asked if he would share a cigar. He was like “A rock opera singer who likes whiskey and cigars? I have to marry her.” And they did it. Marry, I mean. But later. I have to agree with you. Kai is too good for Nightwish. The same goes for Floor, Tuomas, Emppu, Troy and Jukka. I think they should all form a band called Nightwish.
This compilation of performances was directed by Ville Lipiäinen, responsible for many NW registrations. He must have had a great time here, cutting and pasting Floor for probably days. Just wondering why his company is called "Lovely bunch of coconuts".....
I love this video and your reaction to it, I was in Finland for both the Kitee and Vaasa show's which were both were amazing. The band were on fire but a special mention for Floor who was sensational, hitting notes a woman that heavily pregnant had no right to do so. I'm heading back to Helsinki at the end of the month, from the Scottish Highlands, to see a one off show by Nightwish drummer, Kai Hahto and the following day travelling to Kouvola to see Altamullan Road, a band which features Johanna Kurkela (Tuomas's wife) and Johanna Livanainen, both ladies singing on Mr. Holopainen's wonderful; Music Inspired by the Life and Times of Scrooge. Give these girl's a listen, if you like Auri, you'll like Altamullan Road, the track underwater would be a good start.
This is so good. Floor is such a super frontwoman and the band gels even without Marko. All credit to Troy for stepping forward. And yes, some of the recent songs are much more complex especially vocally because Tuomas now has someone who sings whatever he writes and he's not writing for the singer. Floor only 5 months here in mid June as gave birth to Lucy on 20th October.

You know, I was thinking about them not touring for the upcoming album, but that does mean that there are possibilities for guest vocals by say, Marko. Just saying.
Floor clearly proved here with her demonstration of strength that there is no reason for women in an advanced stage of pregnancy to leave their work positions for a certain period of time. They can continue to pick potatoes in the fields or mine ironstone in the mines.
I can't get over the loss of Marko :-/ Jukka may be good but I have no skill to judge that but what I see is no joy, he just stand there and do his job like it was in a studio. Well, some times he walk to the other side, thats all, no smile or anything.
