- Playmates Toys have brought back some more classic figure molds from the 1990's and reissuing their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles; The Secret of the Ooze Shredder, Tokka, Rahzar, and a Foot Soldier that you had back in your childhood. The figures are given some slightly new paint applications and their original accessories. I remember back in the day, I wanted that Super Shredder SO BAD as a kid. My parents looked EVERYWHERE and could not find it at any store! Luckily, eventually they found one at a Meijer store, and I was so stoked! My favorite childhood toy!
It's got the red nose version of Rahzar too. Its not rare or anything, but the black nose version is more common.
Loving the Vanilla Ice reference on the side of the box, hilarious! Since Playmates opted to re-release the rare red nose variant of Rahzar instead of the common black nose I really wish that they had painted Super Shredder black and given us a second chance at the Chef Boyardee Super Shedder.
That would have been a better release for Shredder!
