Certo che sarebbe un interessante interrogativo. Se succedesse nella realtà una situazione simile, una specie di nave spaziale avanzata che atterra nel centro di New York con alieni che escono per incontrare gli umani… Quale sarebbe il protocollo? Ci sarebbero ordini tassativi di non aprire il fuoco, se non solo in reazione ad un “azione ostile”, oppure come qua solo perché uno degli alieni ha provato a “toccare” un essere umano, verrebbe visto come mossa “ostile” e quindi sarebbe autorizzato l’uso della forza? Perché è la parte più stupida del film, che una razza che arriva con una tecnologia molto superiore alla tua e non ti ha ancora fatto nulla di male, quindi non sai se è ostile o no, come “prima impressione” si spara a uno dei loro solo perché allunga un braccio o mano verso un essere umano, non aveva ancora ferito nessuno, né erano emersi segnali di ostilità.. anzi son diventati ostili in risposta ad un aggressione. Certo serviva alla narrazione che le cose prendessero questa piega. Il piano iniziale era chiedere di incontrare i capi di ogni nazione terrestre per dire che dovevano cambiare, ma il piano iniziale che era cercare con le parole di convincere gli umani a cambiare è saltato nel momento in cui hanno aperto il fuoco su uno di loro, ed è risaltato quando l’alieno ha chiesto di parlare con i rappresentanti di tutti i paesi del mondo e gli è stato negato. Se tale possibilità gli fosse stata data, avrebbe potuto spiegare che o L’umanità accettava di cambiare, oppure sarebbe stata sterminata per garantire la sopravvivenza di un pianeta capace di ospitare forme di vita complesse. Spero che se mai nella remota possibilità che si realizzi uno scenario del genere, ci siano regole molto più severe sulle “regole d’ingaggio”, perché quello sparo ha rischiato di fare estinguere l’umanità. Così come l’ostinazione nel non far parlare l’alieno con i rappresentanti di ogni paese, sarebbe la cosa più logica, infondo sarebbe una cosa che riguarda tutti e non solo gli Stati Uniti. Anche se anche qui serviva che andasse così alla narrazione del film.
I potenti ignobili della nostra razza umana hanno sempre avuto il perverso istinto di fare del male agli Innocenti, sicuramente gli attaccherebbero e cercherebbero di indurre l'umanità a considerarli nemici, mentendo e dicendo bugie, come hanno sempre fatto. Then there will be classified and public testimony’s from whistle blowers into congressional intelligence hearings. Congress will then pass a 2024 intelligence authorization act. Which among many things includes language demanding all private companies that were current and former us gov contractors turn in all “non earthly” “anomalous” and “exotic “ material in.
