I’d love to travel behind the J27, but it hasn’t been running on any of the days I’ve been. Closest I got was a day in April where it was the reserve engine, but it didn’t pull any trains.
It's receiving some general maintenance and replacing of the walkways. Scaffold has been erected to allow safe access for replacement of the steel walkways. It may also get a repaint.

It usually does Monday to wednesday when the diner isn't running unless it's having a boiler washout or water change
