Nicely done. That is hyper accurate in note and feel. I’d like to know Sam’s method for creating tracked solos. When we only hear the final result it is hard not to think he is an eternal spring of new ideas on the mandolin. The octave pairings at the beginning of this solo are so ‘Sam’ that when us mortals pick them we think of Sam.
I play drop tune metal but I think blue grass and folk is way way under rated. Ever heard of Michael Cleveland and the flame keeper they shred like I couldn't believe! Jam on brother keep the music alive!!!!
