I really appreciate that you share the process, technique (especially for example the removal of the enamel wash with brush "stippling") rather than just a list of colors. Great. and it really works!
I cant wait to see you do more of the Trench Crusade models! Also seeing the awesome results you are getting from the Villainy Inks really REALLY makes me want to pick up the set of them.
Ascetically speaking the tank hunters are my favorite (castigators winout over all due to that life of suffering for eternity in paradise philosophy). I love any monster with overly long arms and while being skinny, has super dense muscles. I also love how despite being monsters themselves , they are treated like elites who are to be respected. Don’t think I can afford an army but I do think I will get at least one tank hunter.
Beautiful work, that's given a bunch of little extra techniques to throw at my Court of the Seven Headed Serpent warband so they end up much more grim dark than my usual end result. The paint flick right near the beginning of the flesh to add natural looking variation in the later skin tones will be especially helpful!
You've now made me sad that I didn't add on one of those minis with my kickstarter, you've made him look so amazing! I def need to pick up some Goons grime.
Hey, sorry to bother about something probably just idiot-proff, but, I'm from Poland and there is no translation for mineral spirit, could anyone give me just a simple link on any shop or website just to find what this thing acctually is. Thanks in advance
Aw fuck me, im in the middle of 3d modeling one of these guys cause i didn't know there was an official model, and the official stls arent out yet. Im still gunna finish it, but damn it i feel silly now. Stellar paintjob, absolutely wonderful.
@ could do, when it comes to the first filter you used the contrast paint in a airbrush, if I was to dry brush that what normal paint would you say is similar in tone, (can’t dry brush contrast paints 😅)
I'm very interested in trench crusades and Warhammer but don't have the time to paint the minis. Do you know any websites/people who sell them pre-painted?
First of all GREAT JOB ! This look stunning Secondly, I wanted to thank you for pushing me on the grimdark path, I just bought Villainy ink buuuut I need advices if possible Is it possible to paint a kinda dark red skin for uruk-hai with those please ? I'm stuck Keep the good work !
Hi buddy! Thanks for the kind words! Ooooo now thats interesting! I would be tempted to paint the skin as normal. Then use a little goons and carrion crimson like in this video. Or even a skin wash of ichor of the damned, thats a nice dark black wash that will give shadows. And as it dried satin to gloss, go with the wet awful look 🙌🏼 hope that helps nate
Grimdark is starting to get boring now. All these videos are basically the same now, just with different models. I love grimdark btw, but it's starting to get stale.

Such an awesome model, and you painted it perfectly. This scheme that you have used would really suit Death Guard too. Thanks for sharing!
Thsnks man enjoy

@ You are a true inspiration👌
This inspired me to paint a Tyranid Termagants with this recipe. Looks amazing and now I need to rethink how I want paint them... 🤨

Or look up Simon Bisley's 2000ad's 90's ABC Warriors image of Deadlock in this exact pose? Minus a leather jacket and sun glasses.
Oh, this is nice. I'm going to have to try that trick with the gloss varnish.
Enjoy brother

I’m getting the the New Antioch course based on the strength of this vid.

@ for the Crusaaaade!
it's like a small team of antagonists in a sand world, but grimdark

Not sure buddy
Hey, sorry to bother about something probably just idiot-proff, but, I'm from Poland and there is no translation for mineral spirit, could anyone give me just a simple link on any shop or website just to find what this thing acctually is. Thanks in advance
Its usually called white spirits in Europe
It's known as white spirit in the UK if that helps , or odourless thinners in art shops but that's a lot more expensive to buy
@@shauntaylor9251 It did
@@TheFeralPainter it did, perfect cuz villainy inks arive soon ❤
@@tomaszmilewski2592 Be aware it smells pretty bad . Go for a low odour or odourless version if possible

They had a kickstarter. Not sure if still available but i know they are selling them somewere.
Makes it look so simple! I've got some ideas to do with this, just have to pick up some Ratling Grime.
