So after taking my Canopy off the rear of the car has been super stiff and terrible on the road so I went ahead and grabbed a set of standard RG Colorado leafs to replace them! The Colorado leaves are longer and give a much better shackle angle for good droop when flexing!

The head of the bolt acts as a locator on the diff pad keeping it from sliding for an aft ..........someone correct me

Keen to do this same conversion, Would the spring be at risk of slipping forward or back without the locater under the pack?
Not with the amount of power that my car has especially if the u bolts are done super tight, but after the fact I re added a new locater bolt for peace of mind so I recommend doing that
how come you didn't just drill out the hole on the diff housing more to suit the leafs centre bolt?
Honestly too much hassle hahahaha
Could you just use 2inch rg leaf springs?

How did you get the leaf springs to sit in place on the axle since you grinder the little nob off the bottom of them
The u bolts and shocks keep everything in place once it’s all tight, that bolt is just to hold the springs together as a pack
What shackles you got ?
What leaf did you use
